Arthur's Chambers

Jane laughed and shook her head a little 'He is none, of what you have said, i am not married, my lord' she said with a smile.

Arthur smiled. That was good! She was not married! Well, er-...he had to say that differently....it was not good....no wait, was it? Oh, he should not worry about it. "Oh, I am sorry, my lady. I hope I did offend you," he said.

Jane laughed and shook her head 'Oh no, my Lord, you did not offend me..alot of men have asked me that question during my visit' she said with a thoughtful expression.

He nodded, and smiled. "Well, I am glad to know that I have not offended you," he said. Arthur folded his arms over his chest, and looked out the window. He sighed happily. "Ah, the rain has stopped," he said.

Jane looked out of the window and raised an eyebrow 'So it has...such a shame the rain is lovely during this season, although its not so lovely when you go out in it and get soaked..' she said 'Can i call you something than..Your Grace?' she asked.

Arthur folded his arms over his chest, and chuckled. "Yes. You can tell me anything," he replied. Nothing was ever to crazy for Arthur. He had seen it all in life.....so nothing surprised him.

Jane smiled and little and titled her head 'My sister..Melodie..She might be the King's sister' she said and she breathed in deeply 'To crazy?' she asked.

His jaw literally drops all the way to the floor. "Oh, my! That is crazy," he continued," But, even if she was there is nothing wrong with that. We don't choose our families," he said. He still could not believe it, but how was he supposed to know. Whatever the results.....it only matters if her sister was happy, and safe.

Jane nodded with a smile and she looked at him 'Very crazy..' she said and she took his hand gently 'Promise you won't tell anyone' she said with a hopeful smile.

He walked over to Jane, and gently placed a hand on her shoulder. "I promise, my lady," he continued," It would be terrible if I told a secret that was not mine to tell," he replied. He smiled softly, and said," I shall not repeat a word spoken in this room," he continued," I promise."

Jane looked at his hand on her shoulder and at him and smiled 'You are a true gentleman, my lord' she said 'Any woman would die for a husband like you' she said with a smile.

Arthur looked down, and smiled happily. "Why, thank you, my lady," he continued," You are far to kind. And, I must say any man would die to have a wife like you," he said. He gently touched her hand, and kissed it. "I hope we become good friends," he said.

Jane blushed a little and smiled 'Thankyou, Arthur..tis' the first time that i have received such a compliment like that' she said with a happy smile.

Arthur chuckled. He had always found women who blushed absolutely adorable. It showed that they were innocent, and pure. "Well, I am quite surprised at that....a woman so beautiful like yourself should recieve comments like that all the time," he continued," But, I am happy to know that I am the first to have complimented you that," he grinned. Arthur tilted his head, and smiled at her smile. He loved seeing people happy.

Jane smiled and nodded her deep blue eyes glimmering 'Well, i had a good time talking to you, my lord' she said 'And i hope to see you around court' she added.

He smiled. And, then nodded. "I had a wonderful time speaking with you, too," he continued,"I hope to see you around court to," he replied. Arthur folded his hands behind him, and looked at her.

Jane smiled and she curtsied but she stood up and made a bold move by kissing his cheek softly before leaving.

He was stunned. But, Arthur was glad she did that. He bowed his head as she left. 'Well, we have made a new friend already,' he thought. And, he laid on his bed, and smiled to himself.
