Dorothy Seymour's bedchamber

After a long and beautiful walk from the garden, she sat in front of the mirror to fix her hair to make herself look presentable.

i heard that my sister arrived at court,so I rushed towards her chambers and knock at her door.

She hears a knock at her door and wonders who it could be. As she opens the door she sees a beautiful lady at her door who in fact is her sister, Elizabeth

" Elizabeth, such a surprise to see you here"

I smiled widely when she opened the door.

''Dearest Sister! I am so happy that you are here at court.'You look so beautiful.'

I said as I hugged her gently.

It was so good to see her sister again, it felt like months since she saw her family

" Thank you dear Elizabeth, its so good to be here at court and to see you again."

I smiled to her happily.

''Tell me how have you been? It was so long since we saw each other.''

She starts to feel happy as she speaks with her sister.

" I am very well , thank you and indeed it has been so long. White hall is so wonderful and there are so many places to go here I could go on an endless adventure."

She says with an excited smile

I smiled widely,feeling happiness in my heart that once again my sister is with me.

''i am so glad to hear that you are fine...You are coming in great time it will be a party tomorrow.You should come all our family will be there.''

The words of "party" and " family" brought a smile to her face, now that since she saw her sister, she'll see the rest of her siblings at court.



" It would be a pleasure for me to arrive and to see my siblings"

I smiled widely.

''You will like it very much.And the rest of our family will be very happy to see you again.''

Today was a very important day for Clement, Dorothy too. He strode confidently upon Dorothy's chamber hoping that she would be in.

Dorothy was stitching her name on a cloth when she noticed the door was slightly ajar. She could feel a presence "Who is there? Show yourself." She grabs a nearby wine bottle to defend herself

Clement entered her chamber cheerfully only to feel a bottle smash upon his head. He dropped the flowers onto the ground turning to face Dorothy. It's always nice to know that you can defend yourself against suitors.

Dorothy gasped when she saw what she had done to Clement "Oh Clement, I'm so sorry." she says as she grabs a cool wet cloth and runs to his side "I'm not that used to surprises." she holds his head in her arms "I think you need someone to heal that cut."

Clement smiled at her caring nature. He lifted his head a little when she said that she wasn't use to surprises how on earth was he supposed to propose to her. You don't like surprises! But what if it was surprise that you wanted to receive. He ignored his head wound and looked contently at her.

Dorothy grabs a nearby pillow and puts it on her leg to keep his head elevated "I like surprises but, not how you surprised me." She notices the roses that are laying on the floor and picks them up as she smells them "I suggest trying a different way to surprise me."

Clement smiled up at her he hoped he wasn't hurt to bad. He had bad terrors of the apothecary from fighting in the war. Next time I shall knock in a way that only you shall know. Then if I have a surprise I can still do so without injury. How is my head nurse Dorothy. He winked as he said those last words.

"Your head is fine. You're lucky that the bottle didn't cut deep into your head." Dorothy says as she wrings out the towel into a bowl "That would be best." she smiles as she caresses his hair "Is there a special reason why you have come to see me?"

As long as you are with me Dorothy no harm shall come to you. He said taking her hand and leading her back to him. You are not afraid of court life are you. Clement placed one of her curled hair between his fingers. I have never met a lady as exquisite like you.

"You're correct." Dorothy says as she caresses his face while gazing into his eyes. She then looks away "But, I am afraid when the room is consumed by the dark."

Margaret was told to keep company to Queen Anne sewing with her in her chambers in the afternoon. But she was not so good at sewing. She heard that lady Dorothy Seymour was very good at that. She admired Seymour's girls, so she wondered if Dorothy could help her in order to not disappointing the Queen. She came at her door and knocked gently "Dorothy..are you in? It's Margaret Wyatt. May I come in?"

Dorothy was reading through some letters from a certain gentleman and trying to figure out how she is feeling when she hears a fellow lady, Margaret. "Lady Margaret! Come in" she says as she quick puts them back in a hiding spot

Margaret came in and smiled "Lady Dorothy! I fear we never officially met. I'm at Queen's service, just like you. But she made me the great honour to be her Chief Lady.." She noticed that the girl hide a paper but she decided not to ask about that for now "Hope I'm not disturbing you. I came just because I know you're very good at sewing, lady Dorothy. The Queen asked me to keep her company seewing with her, and I thought you could help me.."

"Ah yes" Dorothy smiles "but it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance" Lady Wyatt then mentions sewing " I would love to help, but I haven't since I left home for court
