King James and Queen Lilianna's bedchamber

I looked toward James "Why would he not be pleased that his cousin married another royal?" I asked, then realized i was not too pleased when I heard the news until a few minutes ago.

I roll my eyes and sip on wine then I continue.

Apparently, our betrothal was unorthodox! He wished I had asked his permission first! I guess I was not thinking clearly! but it is done now and I could not be happier!

I shrug as I grin.

I thought James should have known better, although he does seem more happy than I had ever seen him before.
"Well brother, i'm sure he will come around to accept you especially now that the child Liliana bares is both Scottish and Italian decent." I said looking at her.

I arrive to my brother's chambers and knock. I am then announced to him , I will finally meet my new sister-in-law, the new Queen of Scotland. I smile and curtsy as i notice my brother William is also there.

Your Majesty, brother! I received word you wished to see me.

[/i]I raise myself from the curtsy and see my brothers and also a woman, the Queen I assume.[i]

I smile at William, knowing he is pleased of this news…. I am glad as well to give him a son and a heir…..as I look to James beaming with joy…He helps me to the sofa as we all sit, he asks about my family and King Armand….

“I like the sound of that, being called sister, I was an only child” I said my parents sent me to my cousin, King Armand to visit his court and to learn…I am hoping he will visit us soon…as I take another sip of my goblet…and listen to the both of them talking..

I look at my sister Madeline and smile as I nod my head

Dear sister....i wish you to meet Lilianna, my wife and Queen....and soon to be mother of the heir to Scotland's throne! I do hope the both of you will become good friends and sisters!

As we are talking, there is a knock at the door, James sister is announced, as she walks towards us and then curtsies .. she says "Your Majesty, brother you wished to see me" she then stands...

Then James introduces Madeline to me as I smile ...

"Dear sister....i wish you to meet Lilianna, my wife and Queen....and soon to be mother of the heir to Scotland's throne! I do hope the both of you will become good friends and sisters!"

I look to James, shocked as he told her of our joyous news right away.,So I am more nervous now....then look to Madeline, "I am so happy to finally meet you Madeline, I have heard good things about you, and please call me Liliana, lets all have seat" as I keep smiling, looking to James for comfort..as I am nervous...

I smile shyly as I courtesy to the new Queen of Scotland, my sister in law. I take a seat and look at Lilianna.

I am pleased to meet you finally! I am certain we will get to know each other more now that you are family!

Just before I speak to answer Liliana, my sister is announced. James introduced them, I stand back with James and let them bond a bit. I then lean over to him " Have you yet thought of a suitable gentleman for our dear Maddy yet?" I asked as I too was concerned for her well being.

I smile and wink at my wife, reassuring her , watching as she and my sister speak. I then turn to my brother and frown.

Hmmm! Not quite yet, brother! She needs to be married off soon, I know. I have been thinking of perhaps looking to Spain for a match. She shall marry a Prince or King. I will have none other for a Stuart Princess. Her marriage should be advantageous for SCotland, do you not agree?

I see James smile at me and it comforts me....

I sit with Madeline, hoping to get to know her... I look to her and smile "Yes Madeline, we wanted to let the both of you know I am with child, and soon the heir to the throne, we our excited"....as I sit the little one starts to kick.."Oh there he goes, he is fussy today, would you like to feel" I ask... I look to her beaming with joy... "I would very much like for us to get to know each other become friends then hopefully, you will feel comfortable enough to call me sister".....

I look out of the corner of my eye, I see James and William in a deep discussion... wandering what it's about...

As i walk down the corridor, i sigh to myself and close my eyes before wrapping the door. It was my sister, she would easily be lady in waiting to Katherine although it would not be easy at this time and moment. I stand there, as an servant announces me 'Lady Jane Bassett' he said and i come in and curtsy lowly, seeing that the King and Queen had a guest i stand up 'If this is not a good time, i can come back later, or tomorrow?' i say with a smile.

I turn my head to see lady Jane enter and curtesy. I grin as I wait to see what brought her to my chamber.

Lady Jane! What brings you here?

Jane looked at the King and clasped her hands infront of her 'I have come as for, i have a sister, Melodie and she...would like to know if she could serve to the Queen of Scotland, Your Highness' she said.

As we are talking, I hear a knock on the door, the servant opens the door and announces "Lady Jane Basset" she enters our chambers....

I Look to James, he has a startled look on his face ..but I smile... and look to Lady Jane...

She came to ask of her sister 'I have come as for, I have a sister, Melodie and she...would like to know if she could serve to the Queen of Scotland, Your Highness' she said....

I turn back to Lady Jane...smiling...".I would like to meet your sister if I may "...I ask..

I smile and nod 'But..i must warn her majesty, she is of a very tender age and is very shy' she said with a small laugh.

She said, her sister was younger and very shy, I smiled at Lady Jane ..."Lady Jane you do know that we will be going back to Scotland" I look to her...

All of a sudden I see Madeline rush off...

I grin at Jane, having missed our time together,

Bring your sister to us and my wife shall choose to have her as a lady in Waiting.

I then look and frown at my brother, as I see Madeline run off.

What has gotten into Madeline?

I looked to James in amazement as we have not met her sister yet....but he is very adamant that she will be my lady in waiting...

Jane smiled and nodded 'I know that yous shall be going to Scotland, Your Highness and i hope that she will go with yous, and i shall like to visit her..often' she said and she nodded at Jane and took a deep breath before turning to William with a smile and she nodded at James 'Indeed your Highness, i shall see you then' She said and she curtsied to the three and left.

Jane saying she knows she will have to travel to Scotland, but may she come and visit her often.."Yes you may Lady Jane I would not deprive of visiting your sister, you will have chambers next to hers".. she turned to William and James and nodded her head, I turned to her "We will meet her soon"... she curtsied to all of us and left..

Jane sent a servant in with a note and went out till the garden

Dear King and Queen of Scotland

If it is not to much hassle, would yous like to meet me out in the garden with my sister, there you could meet her. If the Queen cannot do so, in her current condition, we understand greatly and would accept just the King there.
