Well...I'm sure you'll find new friends soon. Court is full of kind and nice people. And...when my mourning period will be ended, I'd like spending more time with you, Catherine...

"He thought about Margaret and tried to smile"

Catherine smiled and looked down before looking at Charles

'His Grace, is welcomed at anytime to spend how long he wishes to spend with me'

She said with a small grin.

"Charles noticed suddenly that she was very beautiful. He showed a charming smile and nodded"

Well...I'm very glad to hear that, my lady...

Catherine nodded with a smile, she knew and everybody else knew that Charles was very handsome indeed, she looked down a little and breathed in deeply before smiling again and looking at Charles

'Your Grace..has anybody ever told you, that you have beautiful eyes?'

She asked.

"Charles stepped closer while smiling, still holding his goblet"

No...anyone told me before. They says other things, usually...

"He whispered, grinning a bit"

Catherine smiled a little and nodded

'They say things like...your grace is ever so handsome?'

She asked and she nodded again

'They say that, because it is true, you are one of the most handsome men at court'

"He laughed amused, shooking his head"

Have you intention to make me blush, my lady?

"He asked teasingly, looking at her"

Catherine grinned a little

'I am only speaking my mind, Your Grace'

She said with a smile as she took another drink from her goblet.

"Charles raised an eybrew and nodded again"

Of course...Well, I have to admit...that you're a very beautiful young lady, Catherine. That's my mind...

"He added, winking teasingly at her"

Catherine smiled and blushed slightly

'My beauty is nothing like the beauty of women at court..they are...they should all be Queens'

She said with a small smile.

"Charles smiled, looking around"

Oh...you have nothing to envy to them, Catherine. With your beauty, you could be a Queen too...

Cather grinned a little and looked at Charles

'If i was Queen..would you be my King, Your Grace?'

She asked with a grin.

Eleanor nodded after her husbands sentence and thought about that. Henry already had a queen and he was married with Catherine, how can be in love with someone else, especially so public? She sighed a bit and tried to smile. Even Henry behave so warmly and friendly to them Eleanor was not comfortable about that. She wish she could see Katherine here too where should have been. She looked at Richard curiously. "Does every king have mistresses, husband?" of course she knew the answer. Her family told her everything about court life. King has mistresses all the time. When they were away from their wives, when their wives were pregnant, while they dont desire their wives like Henry does. She glanced at her cousin and smiled. "You're always welcomed in Bavaria, cousin" she said and loked back to her husband[i]

Inigo smiled at her cousin and nodded with his head at Richard. Then he looked around room, sipping his wine

'I would be a faithful Queen, to my King, Your Grace'

She said with a smile.

Charlotte stood with the other ladies and looked on as many English courtiers came to give blessings on Eleanor and Richard's recent nuptials. So many lovely people, and they dressed so richly! I could not take my eyes off her. I walked up and introduced myself.

"Good day my lady, I couldn't help but notice that you were standing here quietly. Are you not enjoying yourself?" I asked with a kind smile.

I smiled, "indeed, although sometimes they can get boring seeing the same people. However, now with the Bavarian court here, things are quite lively." I said knowing she had come with the King's entourage.

"Forgive me I have not yet introduced myself, i'm Sir Anthony Knivert" I said with a bow of my head.

Oh...I have no doubts about that, Catherine. Now...if you excuse me, I should retire into my room. Tomorrow I have to accompany the King at a riding with lady Anne. So...I have to wake up very early in the morning...

"He explained while smiling kindly"

Catherine nodded with a smile and she curtsied 'Your Grace' she said.

"Charles took her hand and kissed it gently"

Hope to see you in the next days for our lessons, sweet Catherine. I wish you a good night...

"He looked into her innocent eyes and smiled. Then bowed at her and kept on walking towards door. He glanced at Nan while walking, hoping she could reach him. He sighed deeply and left the Hall"

Finally I leave the presence of my new mistress and walk through the hall. I carefully move ,with grace, past the dancers who all look adoringly into one another's eyes. I love seeing this.
The courtly love blossoming in the summer when the days are as carefree as they are long. I walk past Their Majesties. They all sit together-resplendent in their wealth, beauty and charm. With a curtsey I smile to my King and then the King and future Queen of Bavaria I bow my head carefully.

Rising from my curtsey I walk past them and stand a little away from them-I see a handsome looking man sip his wine and I bow my head.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Sir Anthony. I am Charlotte Rosenauer." She curtsied politely, there was a glint in her eyes, which remained on him.

Her laugh was quite sweet, it made me smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you lady Rosenauer" I said not being familiar with that surname before. "How are you liking England so far?" I asked still captured by her beauty.

Felicity took another sip from her goblet as Charlotte stood and talked to the man, she went back to her place beside the Queen and stood there. She wasn't really liking this court very much, it was to different, she breathed in deeply as a huge overwhelming tiredness came over her, and she blinked furiously a couple of times to keep her eyes open.
