She said with a smile, as her eyes shone bright with laughter.

Richard smiled at Eleanor after her question. He leaned on her again

Eleanor nodded after her husbands sentence and thought about that. Henry already had a queen and he was married with Catherine, how can be in love with someone else, especially so public? She sighed a bit and tried to smile. Even Henry behave so warmly and friendly to them Eleanor was not comfortable about that. She wish she could see Katherine here too where should have been. She looked at Richard curiously. "Does every king have mistresses, husband?" of course she knew the answer. Her family told her everything about court life. King has mistresses all the time. When they were away from their wives, when their wives were pregnant, while they dont desire their wives like Henry does. She glanced at her cousin and smiled. "You're always welcomed in Bavaria, cousin" she said and loked back to her husband[i]

Richard was sipping his wine. He opened his eyes bigger by surprise after Eleanor's question. Anyway, he couldn't avoid to smile. She wanted to know if every King used having mistresses. He shook slowly his head

Oh...not everyone, of course. Many Kings had mistresses...but some others are faithful men. Like me, for exemple. I...don't have mistresses. I have no need...and I have no intentions to have. Why should I do that...having such a beautiful wife?

He answered smiling. Then he touched softly her chin, trying not to make her feel embarassed in public
