Inge was sent into King's chambers to bring him some new shirts, sewed by the Queen herself. She knocked nervously at the door

Fernando sits in front of the fire, reminiscing of his life. He hears anknock on his door and he jumps slightly as he wasnt expecting any visitors. Regaining his composure, he stands up, Come in...

Inge walked into room and closed the door. Once she saw the King, she curtsied deeply

"Your Majesty..."

She lowered her eyes, still holding shirts in her arms

He smiles and bows his head in respect, My lady. Shirts from the Queen I presume? That is so thoughful of her. He walks towards her to take the shirts from her and when he does, his hand brushes up against her bosom. His face instantly is a bright shade of red. Sorry my lady.

Inge blushed as his hand brushed against her. She just raised her eyes to him

"You have no need to apologize, Your Majesty...The Queen made these for you..."

She left the shirts in his hands

Why should I not apologize? He walks over to a table, placing the shirts down on it before turning to look back at her. She looks so demure, so innocent....so attractive to him that he cant help but to stare.

Inge looked at him and smiled kindly

She said with soft voice and lowered her eyes again

He smiles and motions her towards the fireplace. Please joinme my lady for a glass of wine. I finally have a chance to get to know you. Fernando grabs a pitcher of wine and two goblets and sits nextto her on the floor. Her pours her a goblet.

Inge nodded and sat next to him on the floor. She took the glass from his hand and smiled

"Thank you, Your Majesty. Why...why do you wish to know me? I have nothing interesting to say..."

She blushed again and tried to hide it taking a sip from wine

Fernando pours his own goblet and takes a big gulp. He watches the shadows of the fire danceupon her face. He cannot help but to notice how her features are perfectly outlined.
