Anna was happy to be seeing king Richard again. As it was christmas she took the liberty to have a gift shipped in from Denmark. Confidently she walked over to him. Your highness it's lovely to see you again.

Richard was sitting on his throne. He was looking around Hall his guests dancing. When he saw Lady Anna approaching him he smiled warmly

My dear Anna! Merry Christmas! Your beauty takes my breath away, tonight. Please, sit with me..

He motioned his hand, ordering to a servant to bring her something to drink

Anna gently tapped his arm playfully at his charming compliments. You flatter me Richard! Which is why I always come to you if I'm feeling down. Anna took a goblet placing it gently on the arm of the chair. I am surprised to not see Isabella with you. Is she alright? After all it is you're son first christmas. Anyway, min kære I have made a very big decision about Denmark let me know what you think. It was important to talk this over with a trusted king that Anna trusted. My son is still young as you know and if anything happened to Frederick, I myself could reign as queen for awhile. But I think that Christian should take it and when that happens I can become dowager queen.

Isabella slowly walked into the great hall and curtsies To the king and Ann of Brandenburg.

"Merry Christmas to you both."

She said with a smile on her face.

Anna turned her head upon hearing that name. She knew that Isabella would be marrying a cousin of Fredericks. Isabella, it's nice to meet you at long last. I hear that you are marrying into our family. A cousin of my husband king Frederick you must be feeling rather happy about it. Anna would be keeping an eye on her just incase she tried to make a claim for Anna's crown.

Anna rolled her eyes. We are not cousins!! You are to marry the cousin of my husband. We shall only be related by marriage. Anna could feel her temper rising she shot a look at Richard.

He chuckled, trying to make them calm down. He didn't want a fight at his Party

Inge joined the Party, after leaving Leo with a nanny. She was wearing a delicate green dress with golden inserts. Sybille's gift. And Lady Maria helped her to fix her hairstyle. She walked slowly towards King's throne and bowed deeply

Then his attention was caught by lady Inge who approached the throne. He smiled warmly

Lady Inge..Merry Christmas. I wish to thank you for what you did for Lady Aurora. You saved her life..

"You don't have to thank me, Your Majesty. I am sure that anyone at my place would have done the same thing. Also, I know that Lady Aurora is very fond of you. So..I just did my duty.."

She answered humbly

Since I arrived at Bavaria I was yet to see the king. As he was family through marriage by my husband. One was naturally intrigued to see the monarch. I had pulled out my finest gown, for the eyes of my husband only.

She curtsied deeply again and she stepped back, noticing that other ladies were waiting their turn to greet the King

Anna was still absently listening as she ate a plum that was soaked in wine. The conversation between King Richard and the blonde haired lady was a most captivating. Anna looked upon the lady with a kind smile but her eyes were dancing with endless possibilities as to the good deed she had done.

Bueno, my love...the woman who sits next the King is the Queen of Denmark, Anna of Brandeburg. She is our guest here since summer...I guess she has some business with the King. The other lady is Isabella of Austria..Queen Joanna's daughter. She wants to reach her aunt Katherine of Aragon in England after Christmas. And...the blonde lady is Lady Inge Bergmann, my love. She is lady in waiting to Lady Sybille of Cleves..and also the one who saved my cousin Aurora from poisoning..

I hadn't a clue as to whom these people were. I listened intently as he mentioned Queen Joanna daughter. But just put it down to the mere fact that her two cousins were here.
Is queen Katherine allowed any guests. I have sympathy for her I do. But why are people so quick to not see Mary.
Not one to talk about politics in our marriage I did however liked to be kept up to date with the ongoings of court. I looked at him bewildered when he mentioned his cousin.
What happened to her.

Richard smiled at Lady Inge, and as she stepped back, he noticed Ambassador Mendoza with his wife, so he smiled at them too. After a servant poured him more wine, he turned towards Anna again

Forgive the interruption, my dear. But you know..it's my duty greeting my guests properly. But maybe..I found a way to get your forgiveness. Would you grant me the next dance?

He handed the goblet to servant again and offered her his hand

Anna wasn't that bothered being left to herself. She rather liked to indulge in the life of his courtiers which were far from boring. Warily she looked at his hand before rolling her eyes and placing her hand in his. Fine you win but I am not that good at dancing. You shall end up laughing instead. With confident steps Anna walked into the middle off the hall. Whilst King Richard trailed behind her.
