Margaret reached finally Thomas's room. She kept on knocking fastly at his door "Thomas! Are you there? Thomas!" She repeated loudly, still shaking

Thomas feel his heart racing as she put her hand on his and tell theses sweet words, his face take a moved air, he smile.

I hope so, mylady and I still wish it and believe in it and I wish you to find the man who you would like and to be happy with him.

He look in her beautiful brown eyes, he whisper.

And whoever this man, he will be very lucky to have such a sweet and pretty lady and I yet feel envious of him.

He smile in her answer.

Let me see what I could that you don't yet know ... I fear it will not be very interesting, rather boring ... I don't like to talk about myself.

He chuckle, reflect to what to tell about him, feeling kind of mesmerized by her presence and hardly able to think about himself, then he jolt in surprise in hearing fast knocks to his door, he recognize his sister's voice calling him out loudly, he frown, feeling annoyed of this interruption in this sweet moment with this lady who he feel liking and appreciating more and more as the time advance, but also a bit worried by this emergency in his sister's voice that look weird.
He sigh and turn to Mary in a swift movement, seeing that she have get up from her chair, thinking that this interruption seem to disturb her very much, thinking that he hope that it don't mean she don't want to be seen in his compagny, after all nothing of scabrous happened at all, he and tell her as for reassure her, apologetically.

It's only my sister ... I didn't know she would come.

He turn to the door and answer to his sister.

Margaret rushed into room and threw herself in Thomas's arms, crying "Oh Thomas! Finally I found you. I was so scared..." She could hardly say among tears, without even noticing he was with a lady

Thomas is atonished to see his sister in tears and throwing herself in his arms like she did often before, when she was a child, he feel worried seen her state and also embarrassed to know Mary is attending to all this, frozen by surprise, he remain mute and immovable for a time, trying to see what's happening, then he end by placing his hand on her back and ask her.

Why ? ... why was you so scared ? what happened ?

Thomas look in her eyes and frown, hardly realizing what she is telling.

A man have try to rape you ? ... really ?!

He can hardly imagine what happened, then he think to the naïve and more or less inconsciously seductive behaviour that she have with court men, seeming to always want to please to them, thing about which he have yet warn her many times, thinking that she may have let think to a man that he could have her.
He feel emergency to know the truth fully, to find out because it's the only explanation that he see for what may have happen, because if it's really a rape attempt, then he could strangle the man with his own hands.

But how ? ... are you sure that he have really try to rape you ? I mean it's very grave accusation, so tell me what happened? he have jump on you when you have enter his room ?

Thomas re take his sit, between Mary and Margaret, glance at Mary and smile to her, then turn to Margaret and wait for her talking, without removing his eyes off her, intensely concentrated from the gravity of her accusations, he frown in hearing what happened, feeling anger rising in him against the man, he question her, wanting to make sure if there has been indeed a rape attempt or if it has been rather a verbal agression for try to obtain what he wanted with intimidation, which hadn't the same level of gravity.

It's grave matter, Margaret, I need precisions for determinate if what happened is indeed a rape attempt and decide if I will press charges against this man or not, so tell me what do he have tell you exactly if you can recall, and above all, what happened next ? do he have menace you verbally or maybe with some object for force you to do so ? do he have try to remove your dress himself maybe ?

Thomas sigh heavely, feeling relieved.

Fortunately, the better that you had to do was to leave.

He look at his sister with a serous air on his face and continue.

But it isn't a rape attempt, Margaret, since there he hadn't really try something physicially, I can't press charges on this basement, it's would be injust, but his behaviour is very irrespectuous and agressive and I can talk about it to the king.

He reflec and addt.

The only explanations that I find to it is that since he was drunk, he maybe didn't really know anymore what he said or did and seeing you barging in his room alone and don't leaving again immediatly may have make him believe that you looked for some adventure with a man ... anyway, I advice you to remain away from him and never be alone with him again, no matter which pretext he could use.
