Margaret Wyatt's Cell

Margaret let out a sigh and she put a bright smile on her lips. She hugged him tightly "Thank you...thank you Thomas! I want to be our from here. I can't stand it anymore.." She paused and looked around cell in silence "Brother, promise me to warn me if I'll choose the wrong man again. If you were at my side, I would have never marry..I would have never commit such mistake.." She took a deep breath and looked up at him "And I'll do the same with you.." She said still smiling and staring at his eyes

I smiled at my sister 'Sister that is a deal, just remember, out there in the world is a man who will love you and there is women who will love me. One day we will meet them and we will forever be happy when we meet them and that day will day, and it will happen sister, as I will never be happy unless you are happy. Also remember, marriage isn't a happy ever happy, I guess we have learnt that the hard way' I say with a sigh. 'and somehow I will get you out of this place'

Margaret leaned her delicate hand on his cheek and sighed "I hope so, brother. I just want to come back to life. And when I'll be back at court, we'll go in the forest and we'll ride together, like old times. And you'll teach me archery, as you promised.." She suggested with a joyful smile on her lips. She forgot for a moment of being in a awful cell and felt like she was in a castle in Thomas's brotherly arms

Margaret was smiling at Thomas when she heard guard's voice outside her cell. It seemed she had a visit. She stood up to see better and removed her blonde curls from her face. When she saw Elizabeth she put a joyful and surprised smile on her lips "Elizabeth!" She exclaimed and looked at Thomas "Brother, don't worry about me. I'm alright. Please, go back to Palace and find George. But come back soon..don't leave me alone for too long.." She threw herself in his arms again and kissed deeply his cheek. In the meanwhile, the guard opened the cell's door to let Elizabeth come in

I stepped into her dark cell with just enough light to see her i held her hand. Oh margaret please do tell what tragic events led to you being mistakenly put into this tower. I looked around me hoping they had fed her.

I hugged my sister back and promised her I would be back very soon and that I would find George. I smiled at Elizabeth as I left and felt happy that I wasn't leaving Margaret all alone in that dark and awful cell. I thanked the guard and returned back to Whitehall palace.

Margaret hugged Thomas once more time before he left and she looked at Elizabeth "Oh..I'm so happy you're here, Elizabeth. Come, I'll tell you everything.." She took Elizabeth's hand and brought her until her dusty bed. She sat on it and sighed "I...I killed a man, Elizabeth. He tried to rape me and..I hit him with a stone. I just wanted to leave court for a while, to forget..but fate works against me, and here I am.." She said with weak, trembling voice

The look on thomas face made me feel sad. I went over and sat on the bed patting her hand for some kind of confort after her story i looked at her shocked. Why would any man want to do that to another woman. Wait who caught you? If i know them i shall cut all my ties with them. Oh margaret tell me when are you to be sent to trial for an act which was merely an act of defense. I was angry and had gone of the idea of courting now my heart felt heavy with burden for my friend and i wanted to help as much as i could.

Margaret shook her head quickly "I don't know..After I hit him, people around me called the guards and they brought me here. I was in a market.." She said confused and sighed deeply "I just hope that Alfonsina talk with the King, or...that Thomas talk with George. It has been an accident and..they are the only ones who can save me.." She bit softly her lower lip after she mentioned George and looked elsewhere

No one helped you defend yourself! Alot has happened to you recently and apart from reading the bible you must be thinking alot about what you are going to do. I hoped that this man whom she had hit was of no importance. Your brother will fight for your release he is close to the boleyns they can plead your case for you. I gave her a hug to try and bring some joy for her days.

Margaret nodded and she smiled weakly. She looked at Elizabeth, not standing to keep this secret inside her anymore "Elizabeth..there is something you still don't know. After...after Cesare left me, and after my miscarriage, I started of being very close to George Boleyn. He helped me.." She took a breath and gulped before continuing "I felt alone and confused, so...I slept with him.." She admitted and lowered her blue eyes, blushing a bit

I nodded in understanding love seemed to have a grip on people like a strong hold. I do not judge you margaret but how did you leave things with george! I smiled in hopes that it was on good terms.

Margaret let out a sigh and she shook her head "He thinks I used him. He..he sent me away from his room after we made love. He thinks I'm still in love with Cesare...but this is not true, Elizabeth. I never used George.." She took a deep breath and looked around cell, remembering the night spent with him "So I wouldn't be surprised if he would refuse to help me.." She whispered

I sighed with her. We all make mistakes I fancy a man i can not have but i am not bothered Actually i was that bothered he was the first guy that made her feel alive. Your brother is a good man and i believe george will help you.

Margaret was thinking at her unlucky adventures but she smiled after Elizabeth's words "Have you met a man? Oh tell me...how is he? Sorry, I haven't even asked you if you're alright.." She took a deep breath "Is he handsome? Noble? I'm so curious.." She giggled and waited for her to reply, almost forgetting they were in a Tower's cell

Margaret looked into her sad eyes and she sighed "A count from Russia? Oh..he must be an interesting man. But please, be careful. I don't want you to suffer like I suffered after my marriage's end. Men are liars.." She added with concern and squeezed her hand. She didn't want to scare her but she felt she had to warn her

Margaret shook her head but she smiled "Oh no..I don't want a man in my life, for now. And I don't wish to marry again. Maybe I'm still hurted, but I hate men.." She said and thought for a moment at her words. She opened her mouth "The first man you kissed? Wait...are you saying that you're still a virgin, Elizabeth?" She asked, really surprised

Margaret sighed deply and nodded "Yes..I'd like to go at Allington Castle, and you can come with me.." She smiled and sighed again "Just..don't throw away your virtue, Elizabeth. I lost my virginity during my wedding night..but I don't even want to think about that. Past is past..and I just wish you to be happier than me.." She tried to smile and squeezed softly her hand

Margaret laughed softly "Yes, you're right. But when I will get off from here, I want to have fun, Elizabeth. I need to smile, to feel joy inside me..like old times. And you will help me in this, right?" She asked with a cheerful wink "Oh..but at one condition: don't talk me about men, please.." She added pretending to be serious but she smiled
