Queen Katherine's Bedchamber

As your majesty commands it so I will join you. It means rather a lot to me but I shall return early to make sure a warm supper is prepared.

Elena curtsied into a deep bow making way for the queen to walk out of the room. As they were leaving she quickly grabbed her own outdoor cloak hurriedly.

I journey to Kimbolton and as I approach the gates I tell the servant:

" Please inform her Grace that I am here and need to speak with her urgently".

Elena was stunned that a man dare to enter the Queens chamber.

You mean the Queen of England, Ireland and Wales! Her majesty is on a walk please wait here whilst I fetch her.

I bow to the queen and say: " Apologies your Grace for I got lost in this place and was meant to meet you in the study".

I get to the point of my visit: " I have come urgently with a message from the lady Anne to tell you that you should declare to the King that you were not legally married or accept an annulment of your marriage". " I really think you should consider it my lady".

As I listened to Thomas, my face changed, I could feel anger rising through my body I straighten my body and held my hands together in front of me.
Please tell me your Grace why you would dare bring me a message from his majestys mistress.
I looked into his eyes, my own eyes were burning from anger. I am his majesty's true and obedient wife and only the pope can annul our marriage and from what I have heard he stands by my side.

" You have heard incorectly my lady for I have heard that he is preparing to break with Rome and declare himself head of the English church".

I shall return tomorrow for your answer.

Very well I shall send you message to the king then.

Elena was furious at the man was this official visit? Did King Henry really send such a man to stir up the waters when it was not needed. I went to my Queen's side glaring at the man who dared come here without a warrant from the king.

"It was Anne but I shall ter him as well"

" Don't you worry I will tell him and if I have to force my way back in I will because you cannot deny me permission"

And I am sure the King shall be furious to learn of you coming here with no Royal seal. People who the King has ordered are only allowed here. Now please leave or I shall get the guards to escort you out of here.

Elena wasn't scared of the Duke it was clear that no one not even Lady Anne Boleyn had sent him he was just here to cause trouble when it was not needed. To cause a Queen with a Royal bloodline such distress was callous and malicious.

My body shock with anger but my face remained calm I would not show the Duke any weakness, I turned my head to Elena then back to the Duke.
You will leave now and never to return unless you carry the royal seal of his Majesty I said this with my voice slighty raised.

Juana de Borja d'Aragona was passing by, she had been on a walk with her majesty but when alerted that her majesty was to be separated from her during her visit with her cousin, Juana tried to stay calm. What guest would be sent she wondered and she left her little one Ines with her nanny, a lady in waiting to herself "Take care of my daughter, I will return soon, I have matters to attend to, I must see if my cousin her majesty is alright". Soon the infanta of Naples walked down the hall of the palace walls, she wished to see if her cousin was alright, being heir to the throne of Naples, Juana entered the room only to hear the abrupt words of the Duke of Norfolk, from the first words to the last, standing at her cousins side she turned her eyes to glance at his "I was curious, as to why my cousin had to be separated from her walk with me. But it all is clear now, the ambitions of your vile family go a long way does it" Juana spoke bluntly "His majesty would have never sent you, especially without a letter stating his reasons, but instead his concubine would send you instead." Juana told him calmly "tell me your grace, what had my cousin done to deserve such vile behavior, remember well you are in the presence of not only my cousin but she is your Queen, if it was I, I would have you dragged from these walls and whipped for your treachery in front of your king to see" she spoke abruptly with fury in her eyes standing beside her cousin "how about this your grace, You may have your annulment for your king under one condition.. that one of his majesties men be tied with a rope around his throat, only one single arrow and one single bow" she stepped forward to him

"if such a man can succeed at killing the horse at full speed running with the end of that rope tied to it, will her majesty negotiate anything, but your man must live to tell the tale, I know many has not" Juana glared at him and smirks "perhaps it shall be you who faces such a fate" she told him, she was cunning and cruel like her grandfather Ferdinand I of Naples, turning to her cousin for a moment she turned back to his grace.

" I shall return my Lady for you are not my Queen and I will get the Royal Seal and I will accomplish my goal in getting my niece on the throne and as for your ladies in waiting how dare they even consider to call the guards on me a man of superior rank to any of them".

I turn and escort myself out of the room and mount my horse and I head back to Whitehall and you had better watch what you say I tell her lady in waiting Elena Salvatore.

Elena wasn't scared of this man as men with ranks did not act in such ways especially uninvited ones. Who were not here doing the King's work but perhaps worsening it for him.

" I shall report this to the king imediatly"

Juana stood beside her cousin as she looked at Thomas stepping forward "you have come within Naples and speak of Treason within my walls, such a fool you are. Tell his majesty that you have started a war and we will see how long you keep your head upon your shoulders. His majesty has a strong alliance with Naples and you alone have broken it." she told him "I will fight within my lands but if you ever make such threats within Naples again I will drag you to your king as the fool you are" juana told him watching him leave,

Turning to her cousin "forgive me cousin, Naples no longer stands with England, not as long as Thomas Boleyn claims power where he has none."

As I stood and watched Juana Talking to Norfolk I could see how angry she was but she also kept her calm a true sign of a spanish Princess.
How dare he do this, I sat down as Norfolk left my face turning white with tiredness. Elena Please fetch me some water. I ask as I try to make out what had just happened, why was he here? I turn to Juana.
Juana I understand but do not let Norfolk get to you as he is my mortal enemy and will try to take my crown from me, I do not wish for war but maybe you should seek out someone that is close to king to see why Norfolk had came and who sent him.

I was waiting in the courtyard when my spy arrives to tell me the news from Catherine's bedchamber that he had heard:

" I will take this news to the king right away and I would like you to stay here and inform me of what happens with the old queen".

I nod to the servant and he returns to his post and I head of to see the king.
