Path By the River Thames

She looked at him just one second. He was very handsome and he was her prince-charming.She smiled.

"I think i am so lucky to have you,my love.. I am pleased that you chose me to love."

He laughed gently and warmly,"I had no choice. From the moment I saw you I knew that I loved you and only you...above all others..."

He kissed her cheek,"But you must do one thing... Decide when we shall marry and where...Of course I will give you money for a dress and jewels...and other things you may wish to have."

He smiled happily he couldn't wait for her to be his wife...

She smiled and took his arm.

"I don't know my love.. For me, we can marry now , here. I really look forward to being your wife.. I wish to call you my husband.. I only want one thing from you. Please be there when i need you most. Please be honest with me.. If someday you won't love me for some reason,tell me honestly.."

He then stopped walking and sighed, he took her head in his hands,"Oh love...How could I ever stop loving you? You are right though I believe we should speak to each other honestly and freely, with a true heart- for me that is the definition of love..."

He kissed her lips softly,"...And I cannot wait for you to be my wife..."

She kissed him back and smiled.

"You are right , my love.."

He smiled and then looked at the river as he spoke again- a little serious,,"Alfonsina have you ... Do you ever want to ... Have children?"

She opened her eyes big. Then,she smiled.

"Of course... Absolutely! I want our children.."

She barely could speak. She even couldn't realize her tears coming from her eyes.

He smiled and kissed her sweetly wrapping his arms round her.

"Then I think we should marry soon,"he whispered as he wiped away her tears...

He could not believe how lucky he was. She was completely perfect- he loved her so much and could not imagine life without her...

She smiled and kissed him back again again and again.

"I think we should , too."

She held his two hands.

"Edward..I love you so much."

"And I love you... I always will..."

He took her hands gladly and admired the ring on her delicate hand.

"Well ... Tell me when would you like to marry...of course there are certain people you would like to attend?"

She smiled and looked at his eyes as if she was begging.

"Please my love.. you choose when. You know i am okay with every time. But first you should speak with your sister. I don't have anybody whom i should talk so.. Please."

She kissed his lips softly.

"Yes there are some of my closest friends whom i would like to invite.. What about yours?"

He nodded in agreement and then replied,"Well I have no real close friends at court since I have still not been here long but I should like to invite my brother if you do not mind..."

She opened her eyes bigger.

"You have brother , love?"

He nodded,"Yes love...He was my best friend growing up and now lives with his family in a manor near my family home ."

He the kissed her cheek,"How about we become husband and wife on...a week today? Next Friday...that will be enough time I am sure to prepare everything..."

She smiled.

"I became curious about your siblings."

Then she stopped , she started to think.. After next Friday, she can freely call Edward as "husband".. She held his hands again.

"That will be perfect , love.."

He gave her a warm embrace,"Oh love,"he sighed as he embraced her.

He then kissed her lips softly, enjoying their warmth,"In that case darling to Wolsey I must go as we do need His Majesties permission to marry,"he kissed her again and the said,"Would you like me to escort you back to the castle or would you rather stay here for a while..."

"I will go whereever you go darling."

She giggled.

He smiled and then wrapped an arm round her as they walked back to the castle. As they finally arrived outside the castle he kissed her lips tenderly and sweetly.

"I must see Wolsey alone but I will see you soon...perhaps my sister could visit you, maybe you could design your dress with her? She has a seamstress as court who ,she tells me, makes wondrous gowns..."

As they were going back , they were talking.

"Okay then love.. I will be waiting at my room. I think i need some rest. Because i feel dizzy , i don't know why. Visit me after seeing Wolsey."

She smiled again and they were back at the court.

He held her hand and looked at her seriously,"Do you think you are ill-should I get a physician to see you?"

He was worried now...

"Some rest will be good for me , love.. Don't worry."

She kissed his lips.

"I would see you as swiftly as I am able, be safe my love."

He kissed her lips and left to Wolsey...

Walking alone the path with the cold air blowing through my hair trying to think about what has happened. As i walk along i see a bench and sit down as the tears start to fall knowning i have lost two people that meant alot to me, wishing i never come to court. A servant arrives asking me to return and that my Aunty is looking for me,

Cesare made his way to the River Thames, bundled up in a warm cloak-he still wasn't used to the English weather.

He then waited for Alfonsina...

She put her the thickest cloak and made her way to River Thames. Snow was everywhere and that situation made her smile. When she came to River , she saw Cesare and bowed.
