Dearest Duchess,
Thank you for the offer. I am sure he will turn up if he loves me as I do not know of yet, I fear it might have problems with his sister I might ride out to his family place to see if they have heard. If not then I will know that e does not like me in that way. Then it will be my family decides who I shall marry. I can only keep hope that he will come to me,
Your faithful friend Mary

| A server bring Mary a letter from her father.
Dear Mary
Mother and Anne are well. I am so sorry for this that Catherine say Mummy to her Nanny. Perhubs its better when you order a new Nanny, its not good for the child when it thinks that her Nanny is her mother. Have you ask the Nanny if she say to Catherine that she is not her mother? I believe we come not around that Catherine must take more time with you. I will ask Anne what we can do. Please kiss Catherine from me. Send George my greets. Say him that Olympe is well and she have fun with the rocking horse.
your father. | |

I am told today that i am to start my lying in early, so there is a thing i must ask of you when you return to court for i cannot write it over a letter due to private reasons, and incase someone decides to read it. Whenever you return to court, you must tell me of your stay in your family home, and of your daughter Catherine for if she has her mother beauty she will get by wonderfully in this world of ours. | Dearest Duchess,
I will seek you or your husband out on my return. I have fired the governess so currently am seeking a new one. My heart as truly broken I have still not heard from him but there still hope as it is the only thing I have to go on. Catherine is pretty and takes after her father. She does have the boleyn temperament which makes me laugh but she is such joy to be with.
Yours friend,

| My sweet lady,
Good news, I am sure that this changing of nanny will very much help you for building a new relationship with your daughter in good basement. I am surprised and touched by your words, I must tell that for now, I am not sure of the nature of my feelings toward you, but I know that it's deeper and more complexe than friendship. But you know, after the two disastrous marriages I had, I am being very careful and want to go slowly and avoid to us both to get heartbroken, in waiting to see how our relationship and feelings will turn. But if we get together, I will not keep it secret, I understand that you fear your family's reaction, but if ever we indeed get together, I will present myself to your father and tell him about my serious intentions toward you. Because it's would be irrespectuous of me toward them as well as toward you to hide it to them and would give them good reason to be angry, because generally, when a man is with a lady without telling it to her family, his intentions aren't serious.
Sincerely, Thomas Wyatt

| Dearest Thomas,
I do understand what you are saying and I have recently lost my husband who I had loved very much. I do not wish to rush into anything. I promise you that I will wait and give us time to get to know each other before anything serious that would take place. I will respect any decisions we make but for now we will both wait till we know for sure of each other feelings. I do hope I have not upset you in any way as did not mean to.
All my love

| Sits in my chamber writing to Jane
Dearest Duchess,
Please forgive me for not writing nor spending time with you at Whitehall. I saw my father who told me that Anne will not let Catherine come to Whitehall. I am shock and still unable to find a good governess. I do not know why that George's child can say yet mine can not. I have had a surprise a duke turned up and wishes to spend time with me.
I do hope you are keeping well and the babies.

| Ursula have not expected of an answer from Mary. But its a short message that think Ursula is a sign that Mary know about the History with the Duke of Lancester. She sit on a chair.
Perhubs its better when she leave England. She will soon write to the German Court if they need a Lady in waiting. But she have not good references.
She is feel ruined.
