Thomas and Joan's bedroom

oh is ok my angel, did you have dinner? I prepared soup... please tell me about your day, mine was boring but fine *I hold your hands and out them on my lap while I rest my forehead against yours* I think how much I 've missed my love*

He smiles at her, takes one of her hands and put it against his chest.
' No my darling... I did not have dinner, I only ate some fruit while talking with Cromwell... so I love to have some of your delicious soup!'
He kisses her tenderly.
' I can' t tell you how glad I am to be at home finally, I missed you too, my love'

*she gets up with the blanket covering her back and shoulders, goes to the chimney and makes the fire burn again* oh such a cold night my angel *she realizes the soup, however, is still hot and she pours some soup in a plate, and takes it to the wooden table with a spoon* here you are my love, *also brings him a glass of wine...then sits down beside him and takes his cardinal's hat off while she strokes his hair* I'm much more happy you're here love *kisses his shoulder softly*

He chuckles while watching her movements.
' You look lovely in that blanket my angel, as ever!'
When she gives him the soup, he enjoys the smell before he takes his spoon and starts to eat.
' Ahh... it's delicious, I love it' he realizes he is really hungry and eats quickly though with taste.

Once finished, he turns to her and kisses her long and tenderly.
' My love, let us sit on the couch and talk a little... so my mind can come to rest before we go to bed.'
He takes her hand and takes her to the couch and they sit down together. He put his arm around her and closes his eyes for a moment, feeling that his turmoil disappears slowly.

*she smiles as she looks at him eating* I'm so glad you like my soup dear

*she sits down in the middle of the couch with him and let him rest his head in her chest, she sings sofltyy nd she rubs his neck and strokes softly his hair* I'm here my little angel, forever with you, I'm here to take care of you, because I love you with my life

He smiles weakly when she removes his arm from her shoulders and pulls him against her chest. He sigh deeply and opens the top buttons from his robe and lays his legs on the couch.

She starts to sing and he looks up at her with love in his eyes, feeling warm inside and closes his eyes again. She used to sing this for their children when they went to bed or could not sleep.
'Joan...' he says softly while he snoozes, relaxing by her soft and sweet voice and the way she strokes his hair and neck.

they sing softly together enjoying that tender and warm embrace in the middle of a cold night *she kisses his head and stands up to set more fire into the fireplace and sits down on the bed , smiles softly and talks : come here with me my love, jis a vold night, I need you with me, to be only one, forever

He opens his eyes when she stands up and follows her movements, smiling when she invites him to join her in their bed. He stands up to sit next to her on the bed and looks into her beautiful face. A strand of hair has released from her done-up hair and softly he strokes it behind her ear.
'I'm here now, my love, all for you, let us warm ourselves against the cold outside... only you and I' he speaks softly and takes her in his arms, kissing her tenderly.

*she smiles warmly and kisses him back tenderly with all her love* oh my dearest Thomas you're so wonderful ...please lets sleep cuddling each other the whole night, I want you forever with me and also in my dreams *I caress your face softly and smile* I'm sure our kids are fine, dont worry for anything, lets be happy my angel *I kiss you once again*

'Ahh... allright, I won't worry, not with you by my side..... let's get into bed, my love.' he whispers and while he still kisses her, he removes her hairpins one by one, untll her hair drops down her shoulders in beautiful curls.
He flatters her hair and kisses the tip of her nose softly. While he stands up to change his clothes for a nightgown his eye catches the glass of wine, still standing on the table.
'I will get us the wine so we can drink it in bed, my angel.' He takes his glass and another one for Joan and he slips into bed, holding up the glasses untill Joan joins him and gives her one.
'To you, love of my life!''he smiles and takes a sip.

*she takes of her dress and puts a long white nightgown* oh wonderful my love, wine *hands the glass , taste the wine flavour and smile with her eyes closed* so delicoius

*she gets into the bed and says * on you my Thomas *sips more wine *come here by my side please, I need you tonight and always

He leans over to her and kisses her cheek. He finish his wine and waits for Joan, then takes over her glass and put both glasses on a table next to the bed.
'Come in my arms, my angel....where you belong' he smiles at her and sigh happily when she lays next to him in a warm embrace.
He kisses her hair and closes his eyes.
'I'm so happy with you, my love.... I need you, too ' he speaks dreamy and the wrinkles in his forehead finally fade.
'Has anything special happened in our household today, anything I should know? ' he opens his eyes and looks at her, curious about her day.

*she kisses back his cheek and rest her head in his chest, smiles and closes her eyes pleasently hugging him tightely* oh no my dear, just something but I think you know it *lifts her head and looks at you, rubs your chest while she talks* I have the most wonderful husband in the world *kisses him deeply on his lips*

He smiles tenderly when she rests her head on his chest and he gently flatters her long, soft hair.
´Ahhh... no, of course I didn´t know...´ he says smiling and kisses her back deeply.

´My love, I know we run a hugh household, last time we counted there were more than sixhundred people involved, you run the daily business and nobody can match you... you know I will not interfere, but if ever anyone upsets you or does something wrong, please let me know, darling, because I don´t want you to worry and I want to support you in every possible way!´ he looks into her eyes, knowing she never complains and always assures him she is fine, even if there is something wrong.

'You make me feel alive, even though I sometimes feel I am not a young man anymore. You are fifteen years younger, my angel... ' he sigh and looks at her while he frowns.

´Well... actually, I misunderstood him... and he became angry with me´ he sigh and looks at her and shrugs.
´We were talking about the progress of the great matter, he was alone this time and he was really nervous, he repeated several times he trusted me... ´ he frowns and shakes his head.

He closes his eyes while she speaks comforting to him, knowing she is right. He looks up at her and kisses her neck tenderly.

While she holds his face and kisses him his fears fade away and he smiles tenderly.
'Let us concentrate on us, yes!' He kisses her back with growing passion and he opens the ribbons of her nightgown.
'I made you a promise this morning, didn't I? Well, I keep this promise to love you now, my angel...' he bows his head and kisses softly her warm breasts.
