The Marriage of The Duke of Windsor and The Duchess of Genoa

I walk with Elizabeth to Edward to inquire about his wife.

Brother what happened is she alright?

I pat him on the shoulder and give him an understanding look-thinking of my wife and dear son...

Edward sighed and shrugged his shoulders,"I do not know brother...she seemed fine. She looked beautiful-radiant and then she just fell into my arms. Fainted-she is in her chamber now and The Duke of Suffolk her friend is visiting her..."

Edward gave his young sister a smile-he then turned to their mother...

I approach my children and touch Edward's cheek,"She will be well son-pray to God and all will be well."

I sigh-not sure what is wrong with my daughter in law. I the look at Elizabeth and Thomas,"My children- go to you chambers for now and have some rest. It has been a long day..."

As Elizabeth and Thomas left she turned to Edward,"Do not fear my child,"she gave him a motherly hug and then left...

I sigh and say my goodbyes to Thomas and Elizabeth. I then turn to my mother,"Thank you mother...I will see you later..."

Bridget enjoyed this elegant wedding. But, she felt terrible when the Duchess of Genoa grew sick. She held her skirts tightly, and looked as she was taken care of. "Oh, my that was quite shocking,' Bridget said.

Geoffrey reached immediately lord Craven to help him to bring away lady Alfonsina. But after watching the silent argue between him and lord Brandon, he bowed respectfully and left the chapel

Thomas stood up too and looked at lady Alfonsina

Poor lady...feeling bad on her wedding day. May God bless and heal her...

He whispered to himself. Then crossed, prayed silently God to bless this union and left quietely the chapel

Margaret was shocked. As she saw Alfonsina fainting she almost cried..."My lady!" She wanted to reach her but her brother Thomas told her to leave her breath. Then she crossed, and followed lord Craven as he brought Alfonsina away from chapel
