Niklaus was perplexed. He rolled on his back and sat on bed. He had to take a breath before replying. His felt his blood becoming cold in his veins "Elizabeth..I don't know what you're trying to say. But I'm asking the same question about France. I'm not Ambassador, so I can't understand why Claude choosed me to deliver a prayer book. She said that knew my family's history.." His reaction was exactly the one I was looking for I just stared at him for awhile No need to be blunt Klaus I stared at him a little longer I had two maybe three back up plans ahead I can sort this out myself I can either risk my life in removing it, go away and give it too someone who can't have child. Niklaus stood up from bed. He kept on walking nervously along room while she was talking. He was so lost in his thoughts that hardly listened her "This changes everything. Everything.." He stopped suddenly and looked at her. He reached her with quick steps and knelt before her. He took her hand "Elizabeth..let's go to Wulfhall, and become my wife there.." In spite of the shock of becoming father, he succeded to smile. He could see shock on her face too "Yes..you have heard well. Lady Elizabeth Seymour..would you marry me?" He stared at her waiting for her reaction

I wondered why he was on one knee after hearing his words I let out a massive scream of delight after many weeks of trying to bed him, a misunderstanding, Angry words and tantrums and being parted by the French I would finally be his wife Yes even though you don't believe in marriage I will marry you I knelt down to his level and kissed him with all the passion I had within my very soul for him including blood aswell

Niklaus felt happy for her reaction and kissed her back deeply. He was holding her tightly, smiling and kissing her at the same time "Oh Elizabeth..I thought you could refuse me. I could never stand this. I don't believe in marriage, perhaps. But I believe in you.." He kissed her once more time but he parted his lips from her suddenly "Wait..I have something for you.." He took a ring from his pocket and put it slowly at her finger "This ring belongs to my family since very long time. From my ancestors until my mother. I always bring it with me. But now..it's time I give it to you. So accept it as engagement ring.." He smiled and kissed her hand, admiring the effect of the ring on her white hand
