| Norfolk listened and nodded as if he agreed, he didn't respond directly but while Henry sat down and viewed them superficial, he hastened to answer him.
Yes, yes, the cardinal did... well. He hesitated to say more, how could he magnify his worst enemy? Buv Henry spoke again, his eyes still on the letters so he could not see the joy in Norfolk's eyes.
... Of course you can't forget them! And he is still scheming.... his physician, sir Augustine de Agostini is my guest at the moment. He tells me interesting facts, Your Majesty. he said quietly, watching Henry's reaction with care. | |

| Norfolk bited his lips, mad at himself that he brought up this physician, who was his guest for more than a week now, and even though he made all efforts to please him, so far had not said a single word to use against the Cardinal.
As he quickly thought about his answer, a servant entered with a letter and he watched Henry's face carefully while he was reading. He knew he had to be careful, Henry threatened to arrest Wolsey but also restored him recently, he still seemed indecisive about the cardinal's future.
He waited for Henry to look up again and said quietly.
He tells me that the Cardinal still corresponds with the Pope... and with King Francis, but also with the Emperor! And he will soon be reinstalled as Head Bishop of York, with all additional splendor! | |

He nodded slowly as Henry told him he and Brandon would soon be entrusted with this enjoyable task.
Of course, Your Majesty, Brandon and I are always at your service, ready to do as you order.
He frowned a little as he was asked if there was more and studied Henry's face. Enough for now, he decided, he didn't want Henry to know how much pressure he exerted on the physician to gather evidence against the Cardinal.
