Alfonsina Garcia's Bedroom

She was sitting and looking outside when she heard a knock on the door. She knew that voice. She stood up immediately and opened the door with a wide smile.

"Margaret!"

She said and hugged her warmly.

"Come in."

Margaret hugged back with a surprised but happy smile "Lady Alfonsina..I am so happy to see you. I missed you in these days. How are you?" She asked entering into room

She smiled back to her by pointing a sofa to her to sit.

"I missed you too Margaret.. I am really well. Genoa made me feel better. What about you? How have you been? What are the news?"

Margaret sat on the sofa with her hands on her lap. She tried to smile "Oh..I am well, now. But I lived hard times, as you know. The annullement, the miscariage, and also the Tower. I felt lonely, but my brother and my best friend were at my side.." She took a breath and her smile became warmer "But..after so much pains, something good finally happened.."

She smiled warmly and held her hand.

"I know Margaret.. "

Then she stopped and looked at her curiously.

"What happened? Tell me.."

Margaret smiled. She felt happy seeing that nothing changed between them "First at all, I want you to know that I don't blame you at all, my lady. You are not responsible for your brother's action, and I am so grateful to you for taking me back in your household.." She took a deep breath "But after all this I met another man. He seems having serious intentions, in spite of my past. And I feel close to happiness again.." She said blushing a bit

She smiled warmly again.

"Don't worry. Nothing changed or will change between us no matter what. Actually I am sorry about his behaviours to you. I haven't seen my brother for ages. I don't have any idea what he is doing right now."

Then she continued by raising her eyebrows.

"Wow! I am really happy for you then. But please.. Be careful Margaret. I don't want you to get upset again. "

Margaret took a deep breath "I will be, my lady. His name is sir Anthony Lee. The King made him knight and he is a true gentleman. I..I thought I couldn't fall in love again after.." She stopped not wanting to name him. But she smiled immediately "But I was wrong. I feel so involved with him. Just..he can't accept my past, for now. But I pray he will, one day.." She sighed and smiled her back again

Alfonsina nodded with a smile.

"He will accept it if he loves you enough , Margaret. Don't worry. You know i always want you to be very happy. And I am always here if you want to talk."

Margaret smiled gratefully "Thank you, my lady. You always know the right words to say. As your ex sister in law and your servant, I will be always at your side too. I love you and little Rinaldo so much. Hope I can take care of him again, now that you are so busy in courtlife again.." She smilied thinking at Alfonsina's cute baby and about how much she missed him

She smiled widely and nodded.

"Of course.. Rinaldo missed you much. He grows up so fast. He can talk and walk now. Also , I'll be happy if you take care of my son. You are really good at this job."

Margaret smiled happily "Thank you, my lady. It's a pleasure for me. I don't know how things between sir Anthony and me will go on. But I hope you'll find the right man too. I think we both suffered enough in our past.." She caressed softly her arm encouraging her not to give up

She nodded and smiled sadly.

"Yes , we suffered enough I guess , Margaret. It's time for both of us to be happy."

Margaret nodded smiling brightly "And we shall be, my lady. We shall be. Also..I am still friend with Anthony Knivert. I found him...changed. Nothing serious happened between us in the past. But I know he was important for you. I know..how hard is losing a son.." She said smiling sadly

She remembered her son for a while. His smile , his tiny hands.. Then she turned to Margaret with a broken smile.

"I am still friends with Anthony , too Margaret. It's okay.. I forgave him a while ago. "

She smiled again.

Margaret took a breath "Oh I really admire you, Alfonsina. You are so strong, and you even forgave Anthony for his mistakes. I don't think I will forgive your brother, one day. I know you love him, this is natural. But he hurted me too much. Too much.." She repeated, and she turned her green eyes around room

She smiled warmly after her words.

"I hope you can Margaret.. And I know he hurt you a lot. But I can't say anything about your relationship. You two have different place in my heart."

Margaret nodded and she smiled sadly "Yes, I know. I thought he succeded to turn you against me. But I see he didn't. Now I am moving on, and I just wish to be Margaret Lee, one day.." She admitted blushing and smiling sweetly

She smiled softly and nodded.

"Nobody can change my thoughts about you Margaret.. Even my own brother , dont worry."

Then she smiled wider.

"I hope you will be then.."

Margaret smiled brightly "Alfonsina, if I'll get married again, I want you at my side, this time. I want you at the ceremony, to share my happiness with you.." She said squeezing her hands

Alfonsina squeezed her hands back and smiled warmly to her.

"I'd be very very happy to share your happiness , Margaret. You know that..."

She was very happy for Margaret. She seemed she found the happiness she always deserved finally.

Margaret smiled her back. She looked at her face, wishing for her the same happiness "Forgive my question, my lady. But..which are your feelings for Anthony? Don't you think that being close as friends...could make the old passion wake up?" She asked, since she never believed in friendship between a man and a woman

She smiled and shook her head.

"He was just father of my son. But of course I can't say that I feel nothing for him. Once he was my everything. Now he is really precious married friend for me."

Margaret smiled warmly. She knew Alfonsina was talking using her brain, instead than her heart "We can't control our feelings, Alfonsina. Even if we fight against them. You and Anthony have a past, and he never forgot your son.." She paused and she looked at her with her big eyes "I know he is married, and he has another son with his wife. But what if Anthony is your soulmate? Would you lose your chance to be happy?" She asked, wanting to see her finally happy too

She smiled by looking down.

"I know all of them.. But you know he left me with my son when there was nothing important. Even if he is my soulmate.. How can I trust him again? Also he is married.. I can't be someone's second choice. I can't accept this."
