Ambassador Mendoza's Bedroom

Lyla did not like being pregnant. Especially at her age, and she was not even married! Her family had already told her to find a husband quickly! Or, she would be damaged for good! She sighed, and walked the halls. Her bedroom was closer than she thought. She placed her small hand on the door knob, twisted it, and the door opened. Lyla slowly walked in; and recgonized.....nothing in this room. "Oops," she said, to herself. She was in the wrong room. She dashed quickly out of the room.....hopefully no one saw her.

Inigo was reading a book in the next room. Suddenly he heard a noise coming from the door of his apartment and astood up. Once he reached adjiacent room, he noticed a young girl who was coming outside with hurry. He frowned and came closer

Can I help you, my lady? Oh...Madre de Dios! Don't be scared...I'm Spanish Ambassador, Senor Inigo Lopez Mendoza, to serve you. Have you lost yourself?

He asked worriedly, noticing the girl was rather pale

Lyla looked up at the older gentleman, and quickly curtsied. And, she slowly lifted herself up, and gently held onto her small stomach. "I am terribly, terribly sorry, my lord. I-I-I-I was looking for my rooms......and it appears I am lost......like you said," she said, looking up at him with her blue eyes.

Inigo looked at the young girl and noticed she was scared. He smiled kindly and gestured her to come in

Oh...I can surely help you. But you look too upset for walking alone along Palace, my lady. Are you alright? Please, come inside. I am Inigo Lopez Mendoza, Spanish Ambassador and cousin to Queen Eleanor. You have nothing to fear here...you're safe. Please, have a sit...

He closed the door and leaded her inside room slowly, holding gently her hand. He couldn't leave her alone. He smiled warmly to reassure her

He was the Queen's cousin?! HE WAS THE QUEEN'S COUSIN?! And, she just waltz's into his rooms.....thinking their hers?! Oh, Lyla felt so incredibly stupid. Incredibly stupid! "I-....your the queen's cousin?! Again, my lord, I am sorry," she continues, and rubs her arms," Y-y-yes I am alright. Just a tad bit flustered, er, I guess you could say that is how I feel," she continued, and her eyes spotted the emtpy chair, and she nodded, as she sat down," Thank you. I am Lyla Hoffman. I am a lady-in-waiting to your cousin, the queen. Tis a pleasure to meet you," she said, looking up at him. Lyla closed her eyes, and felt happy to finally relax.

Inigo brought her a glass of water and sat on the sofa, next to her. He smiled friendly

Yes, my lady. I'm her cousin, and I'm here for her Coronation. So, you are one of her ladies in waiting, right? But...Queen's chambers are on the other side of Palace. What were you doing here? What...what's happened to you? You can trust me, lady Lyla...

He asked worriedly with his spanish accent

She chewed her bottom lip. And, gently took the glass of water, and sipped it quickly. "Yes, I am one of the queen's ladies," she continued, and closed her eyes, then opened them," And, I know their on the other side. Well, I-I-I am with child.........and I am not married, my lord. This childs father.......raped me," she replied, looking at him. Her hand began to shake; Lyla's world was falling apart.

Inigo opened his eyes wide after her sentence. He leanedsoftly his hand on her shoulder

Oh...Madre de Dios! It's terrible...but tell me, how old are you, my lady? You look so young. Where is this man? As Queen's cousin, I can bring him to death! Just stay calm...nothing bad will happen to you and your child...

He said, trying to reassure her. He noticed she was trembling and rubbed softly her arm

She felt very comfortable as his large hand touched her tiny shoulder. It was rare someone ever showed her some sort of affection. "I do not know who he is. All I remember is placing my goblet down one night, and when I took a sip of my wine......everything went black," she continued, and sighed deeply," I am only fifteen, my lord," she said, to him.

Inigo listened her with concern and took a breath after her words. He smiled friendly

Oh my God...fiftheen and already pregnant? I know it's a difficult situation, dear Lyla. But I'm ready to give you all support you need. You're not alone. But...wait. He made you drink some wine, you said? This means that he poisoned you! What a coward! Raping a girl...still unconscious...

He said angrily, unable to believe that. Then he wrapped a coat on her shoulders, noticing she was still trembling, and smiled

She nodded. And, looked at him very surprised. "You shall help me, my lord," she asked, puzzled with shock. Lyla gripped onto the blanket, and took a deep breath, and stared at him. He was being to kind.

Inigo smiled her back and nodded

Of course, my lady. How could I leave you alone in such condition? I'll help you with your child, and you can count on me for everything you need, Lyla. You can consider me...like an uncle...

He smiled and noticed she was still trembling. He wrapped her better in his coat

It's late, my lady. And it's cold. I don't think you should walk alone around Palace. You can sleep here, tonight, and I'll watch over you. I give you my bed. Oh...I'll sleep on the sofa, of course...

He added quickly

Lyla smiled. "Thank you, my lord. Thank you, so much," she said, then continued,"How can I ever repay you," she asked, happily. She nodded. And, stood up straight. She did feel very tired.

Inigo smiled while shooking slowly his head

There is no need to thank me, sweet Lyla. My cousin has just been crowned Queen of Bavaria. I'll talk with her, and I'm sure she'll keep you in her household in spite of you're with child. Now come, you must be tired...

He stood up and showed her his bed. He put a warm blanket on it and put another one on the sofa for himself

Lyla followed him, and laid down on the bed. And, she pulled the blanket up to her neck, and smiled up at him. Then, she fell asleep.

As he saw her falling asleep, Inigo blowed on the candle and lied on the sofa. He covered himself wit a blanket too and after few minutes he fell asleep as well. He really wanted to use his infuence at court to protec Lyla

Inigo followed her on bed. He could see her shy and nervous smile. Like this was their first time. He smiled, and when he finally covered her body with his, he kissed her back becoming more arousal
