Norfolk returned to the royal table, just in time to see Henry honoring his daughter and he clapped his hands as he sat down next to his wife again. I had a talk with Brandon, he is so ignorant! His eyes searched the crowd but he didn't see him. He shrugged and looked at Henry and Anne, then at Elizabeth. She will understand, though. I will talk with her! he referred to Anne and he nodded affirmative as a servant offered him more wine.
She was far too busy drinking her wine; to hear a word her husband said. Elizabeth was bored. Bored out of her mind sitting here. The Duchess of Norfolk put her gently put her goblet down on the table, and looked at Thomas. "Sweetheart, I'm quite exhausted," she continued, and kissed his cheek," Goodnight, darling," she said. With that Elizabeth stood up striaght, and left the party.
He looked at her and grinned as she drank all the wine at once, courtlife was boring to her and he probably left her alone too long. He nodded as she kissed his cheek. Goodnight my dear... he said automatically and turned to Boleyn, who was smiling widely and whispered in his ear how the king granted him. Very well done, my congratulations! he said and smiled though his jaws clenched.

He gently stood up as well and bowed his head slightly, then sat down again and listened at lady Margaret, shaking his head and frowning deeply. These are hard times, indeed. Our Emperor understands the need to act thoroughly and actually I am glad to learn the new English Chancellor also takes his duties seriously. This heresy should be exterminated root and branch, don't you think, mi amigo? he turned to Inigo, smiling faintly.
Inigo nodded approvingly at Eustace's question
Indeed, dear Eustace. But until the concubine will have power on the King and can control him, I think that we will hardly get rid of this heresy. This poison for this country...
Margaret nodded in agreement with the ambassadors but as Inigo mentioned Anne she gasped for air, her eyes fled to the royal table and back to the men. You mean.... that she supports them? Even agrees with them? She shook her head heavily. No, no, I can't imagine such thing! the Anne I know is a very intelligent and critical young lady, but also very pious! She looked almost begging at Inigo. It can't be true...
