"Come Catherine... if lord Brandon wishes it, then I know you to already be a good and loyal servant. But I take it, you are aware about what is going on at court? The Trial and the Boleyn's... etc?"

"Yes, your majesty. It breaks my heart to see the King walking around Court with that tramp, Lady Anne. I don't understand what deranged fancy or sorcery has gotten into his head."

"Then you will be aware that Wolsey has his spies within my ladies. He asks them questions about who visits me and what we talk about.."

"My lady!"
*curtsies and looks down to the floor*
"I have nothing to do with Cardinal Wolsey and his endeavors. I am but a country lass, loyal to my Queen and my faith. Perhaps that is why Lord Brandon recommended me, I only tend to my duties and will be nothing but your humble servant."

I step toward her and take her by the hand and kiss them "Then you are most welcome. And I pray you find friends and fit in here, for I am well aware court is not a pleasant place at the moment. But I have know you will soon settle in. Please, went you meet the other ladies, look out for lady Elizabeth, she is very good and also supports our course.." I smile at her. I thank Brandon for her "Come, sit. Tell me about yourself.."

*smiling back at the Queen*
"My lady, I am the eldest of three children. I have a brother and a sister. We all helped out our dear mother, at the humble country cottage we have up North, in Yorkshire. My father works the land and tends the parish as well. And, oh, I love horses. Sometimes I would go into town with my sweet mare, to sell some of our harvest, eggs and cheese. We lead a happy and simple country life. I do admit, I miss my family, but I will be fine. Hopefully I will see them by Christmas, if your majesty allows me to visit them."
