Great Hall

"That would be nice."She said with a smile.

Mary thoughts where somewhere else as she walked the great hall.

Anne walked into the great hall and she smiled and nodded at the courtiers that she passed by. Poor Queen Katherine, how she was far away from such comfort. She took a goblet of wine and took a sip and she frowned at such thoughts.

Dorothy walked up to Lady Anne "Why the sad face my lady?"

Anne looked at the lady and she smiled softly "I was simply thinking of ill thoughts, my lady." She admitted to Dorothy and she looked around then at her "I cannot help but think of the hardship that Queen Katherine goes through.."

"Yes, poor Queen Katherine. Some of us ladies are going to hope that His Majesty won't divorce her." Dorothy looks off into the distance and then at her

Anne's rather innocent looking eyes looked at Dorothy and she nodded "But we cannot deny that the King will get his way." she said softly and she then looked away "He will divorce Queen Katherine, there is nothing you are I or even the pope can do to stop it."

"You are not wrong. Ever since he became head of the English church, he is free to do what he pleases." Dorothy said knowingly "I have seen you often with the Queen and I'm proud of you to serve her when half of her ladies left to serve Lady Anne."

Anne looked at her and she smiled "I am not afraid of the wrath of the Boleyns for doing something i believe in, if it even is serving Queen Katherine." she admitted and she looked away and stared at the people dancing "I will not be shaken."

"If my Mother and Father hadn't told me to serve Lady Anne because she is somehow my cousin, I would still be serving the Queen." Dorothy smiles as she admires the dresses of the women dancing "What are you going to do if His majesty rids of the Queen and sends her away?"

She shook her head "I do not know." she said to her honestly and she looked down then back up "I will remain faithful to her, no matter what."

"Even if she is no longer Queen?" Dorothy looks at her as she raises an eyebrow

She nodded at her and she tilted her head "Yes." she said to her "I will remain loyal."

"I'm pleased to hear that. One should cherish the time while serving the Queen." Dorothy tucks a stray strand of hair behind her ear "A person may never know when they have to serve someone else."

She looked away and she nodded slowly "Indeed." she said slowly "My mama has been trying to persuade me to change households."

"What about your father? Does he want you to switch households also?" Dorothy looks down for a moment

Anne looked at Dorothy and she laughed "My papa might be the son of Edward IV, but my mother is one feisty woman." she said jokingly and she looked away again "He would not try and change her mind."

"You were certainly brave to go against your mother's wishes." Dorothy smiles"Do you have any sisters that are at court?"

She nodded at her "Yes, many sisters and brothers here." she laughed softly "There is John, James, George, Philipa, Katherine and Mary." she said and she looked at her "And what of you? Do you have any family here?"

"My. Your mother must be exhausted after the birth of her youngest child." Dorothy puts her hand on her chest "Have your sisters changed households?" she asks curiously "Yes. Two of my brothers and three of my sisters are here at court."

Anne laughed and she nodded "Aye, I believe she would have been." she admitted and she looked around at the entertainment "But Alas, she always wanted a big family." she shrugged and she nodded "Most of my sisters have." she admitted to her "Would i know your brothers or sisters?"

"Let me think." Dorothy closes her eyes to think until a name comes to her mind "Does Thomas sound familiar? Before the six of us came to court, he was known for wooing ladies and ending up in trouble with their father."

Anne giggled at his name and she nodded "Indeed it does." she said and she felt her cheeks heat up "Believe me, I had no alliances with him but I have heard women whisper."

"I thought so. I'll always remember when Mother scolded him for being out past sunset without her consent." Dorothy giggles a little "Are you like any of your brothers?"

She looked at him and she tilted her head "What do you mean?" she asked her softly.
