After meeting Katherine, I came to my bedchamber in a foul mood. A first impression always counted and so far I did not like her. As I pushed the door open I was glad to find a fire already lit. I preceded to take of my gloves along with my earrings and coat. It took me awhile to realize that my husband was in the room.

I started to take down my hair letting my curls unfold around my shoulders.

I tutted shaking my head at Royce.

'No I am not bothered by her presence here. Besides, it is your estate not mine. I was just never aware that my brother had another child. You have to admit Royce that it has come at a rather odd timing, what with Henry wanting to marry.'

I moved away from the bed back over to my vanity. Why did Royce always assume I was jealous I glanced at him through the mirror of my vanity.

'Her mother was apparently French I believe and has now passed away. Could you help me unlace my dress please.'
