Royal Stables

"I am no gentleman. It is not for me to tell you what to do,"I reply gruffly.

I turn to Edward,"Every morning you will come to the stables. I will have you a skilled rider before your tenth birthday."

Edmund nodded and smiled,"I'll tell my lady governess."

"Have you met my lady governess?"Edmund asked John,"I love her very much."

I shake my head,"No, little lad, I've not."

"She is very lovely,"Edmund said and then laughed as he looked at Elizabeth,"Beth has a moany governess."

I chuckle and lift him off the horse,"I think it's time these two went to their beds,"I say to Jane.

"If you would like to meet again then I would be happy to do so,"I give over my horse to a stable boy and then bow at Jane. I tap little Elizabeth on the head,"Goodnight little Elizabeth."
I then look to Edmund and kneel down,"You are so much like your father-be brave, little Edmund."

I stand,"Good evening, Lady Jane."

"And you, my lady, though I think he favours you already,"I reply simply and leave.

Edmund rushed over to his mother,"I like him!"

Edmund nodded,"Can we go back now?"

As I get into my carriage to take he to Spain

Ursula arrived the stables and pleased the stableboy to saddle a horse for her.
When he is ready he climb on the horse and ride out of the courtplace.

Ursula come back from her ride.
She climb down the horse and go back to the court.

Walking down to the stables as I wait for my horse to be saddled after time I get on to a d ride out

We arrived at the stables and a white horse was waiting. it was still a little foal but ready to have a master and Edmund would be his.
"This is yours,"I explain and produce a small brooch,"It was yours fathers,"I say handing it to him,"Keep it close to you and he will keep you safe,"I mumble and pin it onto his coat.

Edmund with a light smile tapped the brooch as tears threatened,"Papa…"

I ruffle my hand through his hair,"Right lad-no tears."

Edmund stood up straight and nodded as his little rosy lip trembled.

I chuckle at the little boy and pick him atop my shoulders with perfect ease,"Look ahead lad, see that horse ahead?"I ask pointing to the white one.

Edmund nodded excitedly and giggled. He was so high up on John's shoulders,"Is it mine? Is it mine?"he asked ethusiatically.

"Aye it's yours lad,"I say and laugh,"Your father had a white one just like it but it's too old to have a new master. Come on,"I say and walk over to the horse.
