I grin at her reaction and smile,"I am Elizabeth Craven-I fear I have not had that pleasure of meeting you before though I have met both Prince William and Queen Liliana,"I say softly and smile at them both with warmth.

Jane's head shot up at her second name and she smiled as a hint of mischief lay in her eyes she tried to keep her face straight, as she looked at Elizabeth 'And i believe you to be..related to..Edward..Craven?' she asked.

My eyes flash at her as she mentions Edward. I nod and sense her playful nature,"Yes-I am his younger sister."

Jane laughed a little and nodded 'I have met him a few times, he always mentioned you when we were out on our horses, and when i attacked him with water' she said.

I raise an eyebrow,"Oh...Well he has never mentioned you to me,"I say with a playful grin,"I do hope you didn't bruise his ego too much when you had this water fight."

Jane let out a playful laugh 'It was actually in one of the fountains, i did not know how it started, but all i do know is that we went back to the palace soaked right through' she said.

Elizabeth frowned jokingly,"That would explain his recent bout of illness...I should hope these water fights don't become too much of a regular occurrence. It would be a pity for you to be struck down in your prime."

I let out a light shrill of laughter but wondered about her. It was not like Edward to act like this...did she know he was married? A father?

Jane smiled and looked at Elizabeth 'I saw his son, such a wee dote, i saw him in the garden when i was with Nan, and i saw his wife about court to they are a lovely family' she said with a smile.

I nod and glance to the royalty near us and bow my head respectfully. I then turn to Jane,"Yes he is very happy I believe. Tell me are you new in court?"

Jane laughed and shook her head 'Nay i am not. I am Lady in Waiting to the Queen Katherine, but i came in from France' she said.

I frowned and shrugged my shoulders,"I was a lady in waiting for her. She was so kind and gracious...however I have to be a lady for Anne Boleyn..."

I did not want to be a lady for Anne-not at all. However I would still serve my Queen...unofficially.

Jane nodded with a smile and she thought about how Katherine had cared for them 'I think half of Katherine's household whom came from Spain will be sent back' she said.

I shake my head,"No-all her Spanish ladies are gone...incase they are spies. I was not personally disbanded by her-it was my brother who gave me the new position."

Jane nodded and she sighed 'Poor woman..poor old woman..I feel so sorry for mary' she said.

I nod,"She is just a child-she should not have this burden on her. Though I am told she has her mother determination...she will be Queen...one day...even if it is not in our lifetime."

Jane smiled thinking about her younger sister and how she could be one day lady in waiting to Mary, perhaps, she looked at Elizabeth and nodded 'I have a sister, not far off Mary's age' she said with a proud toned voice.

I nod and continue to enjoy our walk. As the sun pours down I carefully remove my head piece and leave my flaxen hair free to absorb the gold rays,"Is she at court as well?"

Jane nodded and smiled 'Indeed she is, Melodie Bassett is her name, she only came from France though' she said.

I nodded,"I am sure it will be a very large change for her. I was told by my father and brothers that the French court is very different to ours in some ways. I feel very lucky to have a guardian here with me but I gather you and your sister are here alone?"

Jane nodded with a sigh 'Yes..we are.. My mother and father died..in France' she said with a smile.

I stayed behind with Liliana and watched as the lady Basset rudely walked ahead. I had never been treated so unjust before especially by a woman. I was not sure if I should mention this to James.

I then turned to Liliana, "I'm sorry for that, I'm just looking out for my brother's well being" I said knowing hoping I didn't upset her.

Jane looked back at Liliana and William, she stopped for a moment knowing it had been rude and she smiled at them 'Im ever so sorry for being rude, i was just having a conversation with Elizabeth' she said as she looked at them both, her blue eyes glimmering a little.

I drop into a subservient curtsey,"Forgive me-Your Highness...Your Majesty. I did not mean to cause offence-it was not the Lady Jane's fault but mine,"I whisper.

Jane shook her head with a smile 'Nay, i got distracted, My Lady' she said with a small smile.

I carefully rise and glance to William and then The Queen with an apologetic smile. I then turn to Jane and smile as I mouth 'Thank you'
