George was not as close with Mary as he was with Anne, Although he always had a deep concern for her welfare.
He hugged her back. "I'm doing well" he said as he took a drink of his wine. "How have you been, since I've been away?"

He looked at the king and took a goblet full of wine. He went somewhere ahead near walls bowing to single people he knew. Then he stopped near musicians who played quietly and looked at the interior admiring it.

I am well so is my daughter Catherine. I can see that Anne is now favourite with the King now tries not to look at her sister or the King, watches her leave.

I walk into the Great Hall and
look around at everyone here.I
walk slowly into the hall picking up a goblet of wine from a passing servant.Across the room I spot a small bench behind the pillar.I decided to sit there and enjoy the wine.

Well, it's not that complicated, though! In Spain there is the Emperor Charles V, son of the daughter (Joanna of Castile) of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, and he is my nephew since I was married to his uncle John, the supposed heir of the throne... if he hadn't died just after we were married for only half a year... she fineshes her sentence softly, feeling the pain coming back again. So you are the daughter of King Louis XII, the successor of Charles VIII, to whom I was promised when I was only a two- year old and he was thirteen at the time! Life can be weird, don't you think?

She is happy with the derivation of the little girl.

Julia entered the Great Hall and looked at talking people. Her eyes caught cardinal Wolsey. She came to him bowing sligtly. Your Eminence... May I ask plainly about something? It is about king's marriage.

Wolsey stood unobtrusively near the King, ready for him, if that was necessary.
A lady approached him and he recognized her while she bowed to him.
' Lady Mytforth... I hope you enjoyed the Masquerade and hopely we'll see you there again tonight?!'

He smiled friendly but when she asked him about the marriage of the King, he frowned and grabbed her arm, glancing at the King and quickly brought her out of earshot.
' You may ask me anything you like, my lady... though I might not answer you, because I do not know all the answers or I can't speak of it for other reasons!' he looked at her, wondering what she wanted.

She stroked her arm looking at Wolsey without a single blink, straight in his eyes. I see that you are becoming very quick-tempered when anyone asks about king's marrage, Your Eminence. said ironically. You also easily forget how to treat a lady who has just kindly asked a question. looked at him sharply. Is this because you are disappointing the king with your disability of giving him divorce...? asked pretending compassion. Now, Your Eminence, you can improve your answering queries skills. smiled kindly with a note of irony.

Wolsey raised an eyebrow while he listened at her tirade.
' My lady, why so upset? ' he asked her kindly, though inside he felt anger rising about how she treated him.
' What have I done wrong to you? I took you apart so we could talk in private, because I don't think this is a topic to discuss with many audiences, including the King himself, who just needs a little peace while eating! I do apologize if I picked up your arm too hard wired.'

He looked at her angry face and suppressed a laugh, making a gesture with his hand.
' As I told you, you can ask me your question, I only tried to make clear to you that it's not totally for me to decide and on the other hand, I can't discuss the details of this case with everybody. I thought you'd understand, my lady, being yourself a lady-in-waiting to a Queen, you should know all about discretion!'

Apologize accepted. she changed her glance into neutral. Dear cardinal, I know a lot about discretion. People in France trust me, including the Queen of France. I am one of her the most confidential lady-in-waiting. She treats me as her friend. As her FRIEND. said emphasizing the last word. I want you to hear this word clearly. Because she confides to me very often... and her husband tell her many of his secrets either. she stopped talking and looked at crowd, but then at Wolsey again.

Emilie frown as Margaret tell her about spanish royal family, because they are her paternal family's worse ennemies and herself hate the emperor, she try to don't show it too much and answer her.
I know about spanish emperor's family, I think it's impossible to ignore their existance ... and about french and english one too, but when it's about another kingdhoms of Europe as Italy and Autriche, I don't know.
She smile, amused by the arranged marriage between her father and Margaret.
Indeed, it's amazing, I don't knowed about it, there is many links by marriage between Europeen royal families.
She ask her.
Are you here in journey ?, your grace.
Olympe listen to her mother, trying to well understand their conversation, then turn to Margaret as she talk to her, look at her curiously, unsure to have well catch whom she is and smile, then ask her.
Dites, madame, pourquoi vous savez parler français ? vous êtes française ?, comme maman.

Wolsey smiled amused as she pointed out that the Queen of France trusted her.
' Ahh... Queen Claude, I think she is a glorious queen! You are a lucky woman, lady Mytforth, to be in her neighbourhood and to be such a loyal person to her that she tells you everything. And King Francis, he is also a great King, I always like to stay with them, they treat me very affective and he even calls me 'brother' !

His face radiates as he speaks about the French royal couple. He looks at her again, thoughtfully.
' I must admit though that I can't really remember to have talked to you before, though your face seems familiair, my lady!'

You are right, we have never spoken before. Perhaps you recognize my face, because you had... hmm... kind of known my father... she looked somewhere absently, but quickly regained control of herself.
Oh you are suprising me. Just look how kind and likable have you become since the beginning of our conversation! she smiled widely. Well, it is obvious that he calls you 'brother' as you said, as you are very close to each other... I would even say... you are closer to him... than to king Henry. That is also obvious, isn't it, Your Eminence?

Margaret giggle and shrugs.
Ahh... no, I don't know all of the European Kingdoms, either! She notices Emilie frown as she speaks of the Spanish family, she is not surprised though since Emilie is after all French.

And I was engaged to the dauphin Charles VIII, not to your father... though he did marry the widow of Charles, Anne de Bretagne... it was her for whom I was sent away from French court, after spending my whole childhood there, waiting for the marriage to Charles. she sighs, then smiles again.

Well, I've been alone for a long time now and I like it this way, I am not longer a pawn in a play of chess, but I act by myself and don't need to listen to a husband... and I came here to talk about the trade in wool and clothes between England and the Low Lands she adds.

She turns to Olympe.
Non, je ne suis pas français, mais proviennent des Pays Bas... on parle aussi français.

Emilie smile, the air understanding.
Ah, I understand better your excellent level of french ! so you have well know my father's court, the place where I have spend so many times in his compagny with my sister and mother while my childhood.
She feel concerned by Margaret's words, herself feel this way since her rupture with George, and listen with interest to her explanations about her aim.
I understand you, I am alone too and I feel the same way as you, at last for now, I don't feel the need to marry. And trading is important for the link between countries.
Grabbing her mother's dress with her little hand, standing by her side, her head against her waist, Olympe ask to Margaret, curious as always when she hear about something that she don't know.
Les pays-bas ?! c'est comment ?
She reflect and can't recall cleary of the lady's name and add.
Et comment vous vous appelez ?
Emilie laugh, amused by her daughter's curiousity.

Wolsey frowned as she talked about her father who he seemed to know.
' You must help me on that, my lady, because I can't remember him... is he also called Mytforth?'

Still thinking about who he could be, he listened at her further accusations and he reacted immediately.
' My lady! May I remind you that is was you who started these hostile accusations?' he spoke ice-cold and withheld full anger.
' I treated you most kindly, willing to answer your questions as far as possible and all I get is...' he opened his arms in a questioning gesture '... these wild accusations! Why? Do you know me at all, my lady, for if you did, you would know that I serve but one, and that is my own king Henry!' he stood upright in front of her, his eyes squinting.
' Now; you shall give me one good reason to prevent me from ending this conversation at once, my lady!' he spoke with measured voice, his eyes already wandering through the crowd.

No, on the contrary, I will give you a reason to end this conversation. she said impatiently.
Its aim from the beginning was emphasizing certain aspects you are getting nervous about, Your Eminence. I have been waiting for this day. Now you should know, that I know things... that you do and other people have no idea about. she said calmly waiting his reaction.
Including the poor King Henry... looked at him reproachfully.
I have some evidence against you, cardinal, and you have made it yourself... You should watch your back as lord Brandon could certainly use it in his... pretended wondering for a moment.
...investigation. The one you serve is definitely NOT the king of England. If you are a man of honour you will admit it, not denay it in such a disgraceful way. she felt that she was slowly winning this battle. She has always respected her enemy, but now she couldn't stop thinking of this.
If we talk about the harm of my family... I am very vengeful. My father, who was not called Mytforth, died because of your greed. said quietly and begrudgingly with evident anger in her eyes and put her hands on her hips in a combative pose.
I hope that you will suffer the consequences of your lies very soon. she felt heat going through her body.

His eyes caught a lady passing by. She had smooth bright skin, blue eyes and perfectly falling blonde hair. She was definitely standing out from the crowd. Especially for him. She has just sat behind the pillar. He decied to come closer staring at her.
My Lady...
He bowed to her.
I hope I am not disturbing and you are not waiting for anyone?
He asked her with hope in his voice.

Wolsey looked at her again, frowning and overwhelmed by the obvious hate that she harboured for him.
His thoughts were already elsewhere but came back to her with a shock, wondering what she was talking about.
' Well, at least I know that you hate me that much that you permit yourself to shout out these things in public...' he replied slowly, shaking his head since he actually had no idea at all where the hatred was based on.
' Now... since you just flushed these hatred towards me, I hope you feel relieved. But I would appreciate it if we could talk quietly about this so you can tell me what exactly happened and what I've done to deserve this treatment, since I scan in the dark. I'm all ears for you. Perhaps I could tell my side of the story, too...' he looked at her, figuring out what she really wanted from him.

He put his hand up to stop her so he could finish what he wanted to say.
' Or... you have finished now and we both go our own way, meaning that next time we are in the same room you behave yourself or I have to take measures, because I don't accept to be treated the way you do, from no one!'

He crossed his arms, looking at her quizzically.
' So... we talk about what bothers you, or you keep wallow in hate and leave me alone, it's up to you, my lady!'
