Rose bush garden

Katherine Elizabeth was walking the Rose Bush garden with her to ladies in waiting. She had a rose in her hand smelling it as she walked. She felt a bit lonely in court seeing all the couples in court.

I had time in the day just for myself and decided to have a little walk. On my excursion I came across the Duchess of Richmond and her entourage of ladies. "I hope this day finds you very well, your grace," I said, giving the appropriate bow.

"It does your grace."She said with a low curtesy knowing he was a gentleman of the privy chamber to her own father.

"I'm glad to hear it. I hope I'm not interrupting your walk," I said.

"You're not."She said looking at him.

I smiled as we continued. "I suppose we don't know each other very well. Will you tell me a little about yourself?"

"I am Katherine Elizabeth Tudor. Also daughter to the king of England.She said with a smile on her face.

Winter was here and the cold chill in the air made me wrap my cloak around me a little tighter, finding a bench I take a seat and await for Francis to come.
I had hoped the messenger had found him and told him I was here in England, I had been back just for a few days now but every day since I sent a message to him I have sat in the same place hoping he would come.

Some time ago Thomas, Lizzie's husband, had introduced her to Queen Anne Boleyn and she was more beautiful than Thomas had described no words were at hand.

On this particular day Lizzie was to meet the Queen for tea and perhaps a bit of gossip in the east gardens. She got there early and admired the red roses and their wonderful fragrant beauty.

I had just finished getting ready and then I headed out to the garden where I was to meet with young Elizabeth Wyatt and as I arrived I could see that she was already there and I walked across the garden to where she sat.

"Am I to guess that you are Elizabeth Wyatt?

Lizzie turned around to hear a small but dignified voice, and in doing so she pricked her finger on the sharp thorn of a rose stem "Ouch" then put her finger to her mouth immediately stopping the blood from bleeding out. "Indeed I am Elizabeth Wyatt Brooke, wife to Thomas Wyatt" she said and then curtsied low and bowed her head, Anne wasn't as beautiful as Thomas had described but Lizzie would continue to keep her eyes lowered until the Queen spoke to her again she didn't know why she felt a sense of intimidation but she did and she would not fight it.

I saw the young woman prick her finger on the rose as she turned around.

"I am so happy to meet you Lady Wyatt. Your husband Thomas is a very talented poet and I like his work. Is your finger okay? I can have my physician look at it?
