I'm more for older things. I find them more beautiful and elegant, especially for the wedding dresses.

She said, shrugging her shoulders slightly.

Anna raised her goblet up to his smiling at the prospect of this new found friendship. No one can dethrone you Richard if you think this way you have allies in Spain,Portugal and now Denmark strong allies to be had their. Although I totally distrust my "husband" so putting that aside shall we toast to new chapters in our lives. Anna had forgotten about the party going on around them as they discussed what was troubling them the most.

Jane slowly walked into the party. She saw the king talking to other woman. She looked down felt a bit out of place at the party. She walked over to the corner to a empty table and set down at the table.

Juliet told her ladies in waiting she needing to go lay down and to tell her uncle. Her lady in waiting went over."I am sorry to bother you your majesty's but my lady is going to go lay down." She said after she curtsies to them.

Anna drank from her goblet after they had made their toast she gave him a stern look. I have a Son and daughter both of them shall be either King or Queen in their lifetime. She drummed her fingers on the throne arm casting her eye's around the room. What is the status of you're son going to be.

Please, call my personal physician..or a midwife if necessary. Bring her in her room..and tell her that I'll visit her as soon as possible..

Clearing his voice, he turned towards Anna again

Ehm..sorry again. As you see, my nieces keep me very busy..and very worried. Juliet is the only niece who lives here at court. Valerie and Hellen are away around Europe. A son and a daughter..really? I imagine you want to see them both on a throne, one day. Oh and..about my son Max..I'm thinking to legitimate him. I'll give him the titles of Duke of Nuremberg and Prince of Bavaria..

"Her Majesty Isabella of Austria."

The servant announced.

Isabella of Austria walked in with her ladies in waiting. She walked up to the king and curtsies low to him.

"Your Majesty I am Isabella of Austria daughter of Joanna of Castille and Philip I of Castile."

She said softly to the king.

The lady in waiting nodded and curtsies to him and went back to Juliet who left the party after what her lady said to her from her uncle.

Richard noticed that ladies were carrying his niece Juliet away. While the Princess of Spain was announced. He glanced apologetically at Anna and smiled at his new guest

Princess Isabella, welcome to my court! Spaniards are always welcome at my court, cause it's my wife's country, as you know. I trust the journey will be pleasant for you..

Anna patted his hand letting him know that it was not his fault for all the interruptions. Let us talk some other time you have guests to entertain. Anna smiled he was just one man trying to please all these women. Oh Ambassador Ingio Anna made her way over to him she glanced back at Richard. You are doing the right thing by your son I pray you will have many more.

I noticed Beatrice following my gaze so I turned my attention back towards her. That is my future sister in law Anne Cleves she is very shy and can't really handle her drink she is very much a stout wine lover.

She's very beautiful and looks so innocent.

Beatrice said as she looked at lady Anne again. then turned her eyes to Maria again.

Why don't you ask her to come here, to join us?

How nice of Beatrice to offer I kept forgetting that she was a princess. Of course. Anne! I called waving my hand at her so she would notice. Come and join me and the young princess Beatrice. It felt most unlady like to call across the room I hoped that Anne would hear me.

Beatrice smiled to Maria as she waved towards Anne. It was not lady like, but she liked Maria even more now.

Anna noticed that it was simmering down. The people who had once wanted to speak with the King had gone elsewhere or had found a lover for the night. Anna stepped back up and placed herself at his side again. Actually your highness things seem to be slowing down, so I think I could stay a few hours more in your company.

Anna smiled at his kind compliment frowning as he took another goblet. I would never want to bother you. Out of all the ailing people that come to you're company how can you tell who really seeks your help and who is waisting your time. Unlike other people among this court Anna really did need his help. I sincerely hope you do not let me down King Richard. The security of the Danish throne is my life yet I also have to fill the role of King,queen and parent all at the same time. If our alliance slipped through I would be most disappointed.

Richard was sipping and tasting deeply his wine while she was talking. Once she finished, he smiled and turned his eyes until he met hers

I shall never let you down, Anna. I give you my word, that our alliance will strenghten your throne. And I never withdraw my words..

He smiled again, noticing her perplexed glance. He glanced at his goblet

Oh..don't worry about this. We bavarians like drinking and that's a normal thing for us. I'm not drunk..

It is not for me it is for my son. I would like to clear the pathway for him so that when he is of age the strife caused by others concerning the Danish throne will be clear from trouble for him. So that he may start a fresh without having to deal with troubles of the old. Anna said with heavy sigh Ideally she would like to keep an alliance closer to home. Anna was uncertain of the situation in England.

Richard looked at his goblet for a while and turned his glance towards her

Your son is lucky having a mother like you, Anna. You just want the best for him, and you want to see him on the throne, of course. So don't worry. With such horsewoman as mother, he will surely get whatever he wants..

A horsewoman you say? I would rather be considered that than to be stepped all over. A mother of a Prince does all the work and the father of a Prince cares about the dowry. Never underestimate the power of a woman king Richard as we are always one step ahead of men. Anna was trying to give him some advice about his very complicated love life. She wished he could be a lot stronger and not be a door mat. Bavaria was not her kingdom but she thought of it's reputation too. King Richard, it is ok to sometimes say no to people. I practically live by the word. Just be careful where you plant your seed. The next lady you bed is probably already hoping to become pregnant by you. And I speak honestly and openly to you as a friend.
