A Christmas Ball was being held in the Great Hall..Everyone was there to celebrate Christmas..A servant announded Charlotte..She waved at her brother Kevin as she got in...Then she gracefull walked towards her cousin the king.. Merry Christmas your majesty she said smiling widely... May God always send you good health and prosperity!Please accept this gift!

Sitting beside the King I wave my hand to one of my ladies, who brings forward the King's gift from me. It is New Testament Bible, carefully had crafted with excellent penmanship. On the cover is his name, showing who it belongs to and a big gold clasp sealing the big book shut

Julia entered the Hall holding a present for His Majesty and scouted around. People were still coming; well-dressed ladies and uniquely polite lords. She noticed Wolsey. Not here, not now... Not today. she tought remembering their last heated conversation. She took a deep breath and glanced at the Royal couple. She approached the rank and waited for her turn.

Wolsey straigthened his back and stood upright with his hands folden. He was prey to different feelings at the same time, feeling proud and grateful that so many people came to tribute their Majesties, bringing wonderful gifts, but also well aware of the tension between the king and him. It was so crowded that there was no opportunity to exchange some words with Henry so he had to stand by and just watch. Most people neglected him and for the first time he was glad about it.
He had some painfull moments when the king spoke hearty at sir Boleyn and he pretended not to see Boleyns' triumphant eyes on him. He also noticed Henry's cold response to the queen's present and then he heard Henry's loud comment on Anne's present. For a moment he closed his eyes because he catched the pain on the queen's face but as he opened them again, he saw Henry glancing at him. Immediately he smiled reassuring and bowed slightly at him, meaning 'yes, I will ensure .'

Edward entered the Great Hall...It was more crowded than ever!! He walked to the thrones so to offer them their gifts... Your majesty he said bowing by the time he arrived..I'm Edward Seymou, son of Lord John Seymour.. He tried to smile...I was the first time he spoke to the king himself... Have a happy New Year your Majesty that shall bring you everything that the last one didn't!Please accept this humble gift as a token of my affection to you! He offered him a little pochet with a sterling silver ring in it decorated with a beautiful black stone!
