Charlotte smiled widely, appreciating his playful demeanor. "It is so rare in my life to find peace and quiet, sometimes I am not used to it. But on nights like tonight, who can complain?" She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as she looked up at him and smiled. "So what brings you out here tonight sir, is it just the view?"

She smiled and glanced away, then back at him. "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. and if I may be so bold, my eyes do behold a view of great handsomeness."

Arthur bowed gracefully and took her soft hand in his one and placed a sweet kiss upon it, and turned it around and placed a kiss upon her wrist.

"I think England is a lovely country. The land is beautiful and the people are friendly. At least, from my own experience they are," she added with a smile.

Arthur widened his eyes and laughed 'Lots of people..can be to friendly, My Lady' he said 'Some men, take women for granted and use them for all they are worth, their maidenhood, then they use them for love making and leave them when they find a new woman' he said and he stared out into the view 'Some women like to do this aswell' he said.

Charlotte lost her smile when she heard this. It sounded very much like what she herself had gone through during her time here. "I know many people cannot be trusted. But I like to think the best of people without judging them, and there is a good side to everyone, if one looks hard enough." She managed a small smile. "I myself have never used someone for my own purposes." She wondered if his words were alluding to a personal heartbreak of his.

Charlotte smirked as Arthur stopped his description of his former love. She was not one to shy away from harsh words, as long as they were not towards herself. "That is terrible, my lord. I suppose I haven't been around many of the nobility, but I cannot imagine using someone for a title. I'm sorry to hear she hurt you." She glanced up at him and pouted.

"You are right, one should not stay mired in the past, when the present is filled with new and wonderful things." She nodded as he offered some wine. "I would love some, thank you."
