Ah! So do you aspire to be like Cromwell. I jest as I lock eyes with him. The next words he spoke had stunned me into silence. Being quick on my feet, cunning, and knowing how to get myself out of any dilema. My smile is fake. If anything, I'm embarrassed, because I enjoy being in your presence. Tears streamed down my face as I realised we could never be.

William noticed her wet eyes and stepped closer. With his hand, he wiped softly her tear

I..I'm sorry if my words hurted you. Or even...if they offended you. Forgive me..

He removed quickly his hand from her face and cleared his throat

I understand that I'm...embarassing you. And I'm sorry..this was not my intention. But I had to share all this with you, Margery. I...I'm not a womanizer. I had a wife...once. But suddenly she left me..for another man..

He stepped back again and took a deep breath. Looking at landscape in front of them, he tried to turn into words that sad period of his life

After that, I wanted no one at my side. But you..you look so different..

Turning his head, he met her eyes

I know I'm scaring you..but please, if you really enjoy my presence as you just said, let me prove that my intentions towards you are..noble. You are so young..and surely you don't trust a 44 years old man. I fully understand. That's why...I ask you to talk to your father, or to one of your brothers. I need their permission to court you..

He finally said. Breathing her scent, he felt the urge of stepping closer again. But he didn't, waiting for her reaction again

It was like playing with fire. One touch by him could make my whole body surrender. I listened to my head and not my heart. William pursued me as if I was treasure. But what man was destined to make it in through the depths of my heart. No my lord, i think we should be friends.

William looked down for a while after she spoke. He gulped to meet her eyes again while nodding slowly. Probably he really scared her

Friends...we should be friends, you say? I...I understand. And I suppose..that I look ridicoulus to you. But...if I had the chance talking to your brother, I could reassure your family that I..I will respect your virtue and your reputation will be safe with me..

Of course, he felt desire for her. But he knew he had to inhibit such feelings. So he stepped back again

I beg you to forgive me, Margery. I...I just ask you one more thing. Meet me tomorrow at sunset, in the stables. I swear...I have not indecent intentions. So..you can give me an answer. And, if after this meeting, you will be still sure that we should be friends..then we'll be. Nothing else..Will you come?

While saying his last sentence, he took instinctively her hand in his and stared at her eyes

After a few turns on the dance floor Juliet slipped out to the balcony for some fresh air and quiet. She was not surprised to see another person there. She smiled politely at him thinking to herself that he looked like royalty. Hello there, are you craving quiet too?

I stood on the balcony as i needed some fresh air and as I stood there i was shortly joined on the balcony by a young woman who had a nice caring voice.
I turned to look at her.

"Good day my lady I do crave the quiet to things are mad sometimes especially for me being brother to England's Queen. I do have to say my lady you are most stunning.

The moment he said he was the Queen's brother Juliet quickly realized that he must be George Boleyn. She had heard many rumors about him and it intrigued her to get to know him. You are very kind my Lord.

I know who you are my lord, you are George Boleyn and brother to the Queen. Many here talk about you, so many things that I wonder what is true or not. Juliet said softly staring at him thinking that the rumours about his looks were all correct. He was so handsome, but what other rumours about his lovers she was dying to learn more about. I am Juliet Compton.

Juliet blushed as she thought about the things that she had heard about George Boleyn. Did she dare tell him all of the things she heard? Thank you, you are very kind. She nervously glanced at him then spoke. I have been told that you are a true ladys man and that any lady should be careful around you. You have a reputation for stealing ladies virtue with your charm.

Juliet had to admit that she was finding him just as charming as the rumors said. She liked being near him. I am not afraid, but I do see how it would be very hard to resist you. I don't know that just you being brother to the Queen draws ladies to you. I think it's your charm.

Juliet was pleased when he offered to introduce her to the Queen of England. I would love to meet the Queen, if she'd even want to meet me. I'm just another lady at court, nothing special.

Juliet blushed as she listened to George talk. She could definitely see why all the ladies were charmed by him. He was even more handsome than she had expected and so easy to talk too. When he invited her to dine with him and even to meet his sister, the Queen she gasped then covered her mouth. You would do that for me? Im flatteres and yes please!

It was almost sunset and Geoffrey was pulling out some flowers and lightning candles in the Great Hall. When suddenly noticed lady on the balcony alone. Only after approaching her with few steps he noticed she was lady Boleyn, Queen's sister. He bowed

Forgive me, my Lady. I never meant to disturb you. But it's rather windy outside. Do you need me to bring you a coat?
