She made a small hmph noise as he mentioned her husband. "You should tell him so, if you see him," she smirked, picking up a blade of grass and splitting it in half. "I think my brother will be happy, he's found a woman of great wealth and he needs funding for his acting troupe." She shrugged. "But they are in love, so..." She looked at him, placing her hand on his. "Do tell me more about yourself, I do like that we've met, and there is a reason for it."

Her eyes grew wide and she envisioned, like so many others who learned of England's long and blood-soaked history, the Tower as a monument to imprisonment and many prisoners' final days. She shook her head of these thoughts. "It must be a scary place to be," she whispered. "I am getting cold, now that I think about it. Would you escort me inside?" Her suggestion was tinted with promise, as she looked into his eyes.

(OOC this post is for me and another person, and only she should reply to it. She knows who she is Thanks!)
I went outside late in the evening, with a lot on my mind lately. There on the bench I found a beautiful woman, sitting alone. Pardon me, my lady. Would you care for some company?

Mionetta turned her head, slightly startled as she had been looking up at the sky.
She smiled, blushing slightly as she nodded. "I would not mind it, signore," she smiled, tucking a curl behind her ear, "only if you do not mind the company of a lady," she laughed.

I heard the beautiful accent she had, and took a seat next to her. I followed her gaze to the heavens. It's a beautiful night, isn't it? I looked to her. So you are not from here? What brings you to England my lady?

Mionetta remained smiling up at the star filled sky. "It certainly is," she beamed.
She looked at the gentleman next to her and smiled, her eyes widening is slight surprise. "No, I am from Venice," she smiled, "how did you know?" she frowned a little, still smiling. She gave a laugh, returning her gaze to the stars above, "I am come with Charlotte Knivert and her baby boy. But, I am a singer as well," she looked at him, "and," she shrugged, "I am hoping to perform here at court."
Netta noted how he was dressed. "And you, sir?" she smiled. "Forgive me, but you do not appear as though you are some mere courtier," she laughed.

I laughed softly. I am good with languages and accents. I've even spent some time in Venice. Venetian accents are different from anywhere else..more musical sounding, the inflection is light and slightly higher pitched. I raised my eyebrows when she mentioned Lady Charlotte, having met her that time in Bavaria. I heard she'd had a son, and so you are the governess and singer as well? You must sing something for me. I took a deep breath as I had never really been asked about my own life before. I excel in things other than ambition and greed, so no I am not the average courtier. I travel quite a lot, and I especially love to sail. But I thank you for the compliment. I studied the silvery moonlight on her raven black waves of hair.

Mionetta listened as he spoke, a smile spreading to her lips as she nodded.
She looked down at her fingers, blushing slightly. "Yes, I fear I do both," she laughed. She tilted her head, her eyes widening, "What, now, Signore?" she blinked, a bit surprised that he wanted to hear.
Netta turned in her seat to better face him as he spoke. She blushed, embarrassed a moment. "I fear, that I may perhaps be one of these ambitious courtiers you speak of," she confessed. Her eyes moved to look at him and she could see he looked at her hair. She turned her head away, afraid he would see her blush.
After a moment she turned her head to look at him again, though a smile still stood upon her lips. "So then what do you do when you are not sailing?" she smiled, "though the sea is adventurous, there must be some things you enjoy doing here whilst on land."

Of course now. Unless you fear I will judge you. Worry not, I love the beautiful sound of a woman's voice. I raised my brows as I heard her say she was the ambitious type. What are your plans my lady? Do you wish to find a rich husband? I saw the effect I was having on her, and obviously she was not the brazen type, which was quite refreshing. I stretched my legs out, my muscles taut from riding all day. I suppose I do what any man likes to do: hunt, ride, shoot, chase women.. I grinned and winked as I said it jokingly. Although I daresay that is the same as hunting. What about you Signora what are your pleasures?

Netta laughed.
Her eyes widened and she shook her head, giving a laugh. "No, my lord." She looked down at her clasped fingers, "Though I should like to find a husband here...I fear it would not happen." She turned her head to look upon him better, "No, my first goal has been that all of court shall hear my voice and know me," she smiled.
Mionetta watched him as he spoke, and when he mentioned his last pleasure she turned her head nervously as she felt herself smiling, a blush forming upon her cheeks. She turned to look at him, giving a laugh. "Well, I like to sing, and read and sew." She closed her eyes, giving a sigh, "Oh, I must be the most boring woman you have ever met!" she laughed nervously, shaking her head. "I do juggle and some acrobatic fetes at times," she laughed, "I confess to have the blood of gypsy's in my veins, and I think that is where it comes from."
She closed her eyes for a moment to think. She paused for a moment, clearing her throat and swallowing. She straightened her back, lifting her head as she took a deep breath: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Then I see your ambition lies in your profession. That is much more admirable than ambition for wealth. But I think it would not be hard for you to find a husband. Foreign attributes are especially sought after. I smiled seeing her blushing face. No, I do not think you're boring. You juggle and sing and entertain, and you have wild blood in your veins. You are far from dull.
I watched as she sang, her face filled with every emotion. When the last note ended I applauded her. My lady! Does Venice know what it has lost to England?

Mionetta turned her head, giving a laugh. She looked down at her fingers. "Ohh, I think we all secretly dream of wealth," she laughed faintly. "I come from a small home with seven brothers and sisters," she confessed, "I could not think of anything better than to be able to live comfortably and not have to worry about food or prospect," she breathed.
She blushed, throwing her head back and laughing. "I pray you are right, signore," she turned to look at him, "for I fear some here do not understand me."
Netta smiled, "I am glad you think so," she felt a blush cross her cheeks, again.
She swallowed as she finished the last note, her heart racing. She gave a laugh, sweeping her hand through her curls. She shook her head, "Only the school for girls and the streets of Venice shall miss me," she laughed. She turned to look at him, again. "I thought I should sing something for the seafaring soul, such as yourself," she smiled.
Netta comically placed her hands upon her hips as she straightened up, again. "Now, signore, I must command something of you," she grinned, giving a laugh. "I have shown you one of the talents dear to my heart, and I bid you show me something," she smiled, pulling at the sleeves of her gown as though she were the very queen herself. "You shall have only a few moments to please me, and if I am not amused, I shall place a gypsy curse upon you," she leaned in, frowning dramatically, though she quickly burst into laughter. She hoped he would be kind enough to play along, as she much missed having such conversations.

"Charles raised an eyebrow, surprised"
Oh...do you wish to meet lady Anne Boleyn? Uhm...she is very required too, actually, and she already acts like a Queen. But...I'm not so close to her. So I think you should talk with Thomas Boleyn or her brother Lord Rochford, first...
