The journey had been long and tiresome but as I descended from the carriage, my eyes followed the walls of the palace up and I gazed around myself. I was home. My ladies slowly escape the confines of our wheelhouse: the trunderling prison that had returned us to my brother's court. They fawn over me and my daughter, held in the arms of her wet nurse as we stand waiting for grooms to attend to my luggage. The smile on my face brightened more and more at the thought that I was home: safe and sound amongst the walls of Whitehall. My golden hair tumbled loosely over my shoulders and I paid it no heed: the same went for my travelling gown. I would make myself presentable later: I would look like the princess I was once my daughter and I were settled.

Amelia was walking in the courtyard thinking about how the miscarriage of her child was going to change her life. She was a strong woman but she couldn't fight the tears the fell down her face. Then she saw her good friend Mary and she knew having someone to talk to was what she needed right now. She called out her name "Mary! Mary!" and walked up to her "How are you my sweet friend?" she asked as she approached her.
