Meadow Stream

She shook her head immediately.

"No.. Of course no my lord. I just.."

She stopped for a moment and sighed.

"I am just surprised how i feel about you."

"Is that a good thing? Or will I be leaving this place alone, and feeling sorry for myself?" I looked into her eyes searching for the answer.

She smiled while she was looking at his charming eyes.Then she took Edward's hand and placed it on her chest.

"Maybe , my heartbeat can answer your questions , my lord.."

She smiled again.

I could feel her heartbeat beneath my hand, a slight thudding against her soft skin. I smiled and bent to kiss the same spot where her heart was.

When she felt his warm lips upon her skin , her all body shivered. She smiled and closed her eyes for a second.Then she opened them and looked at him.

"I guess you understand.."

She smiled.

There were no more words for what was going on between us. I gently took her face in my hands and kissed her, becoming drunk on her kisses. I was out of my senses, going along with the wine that now flowed in my blood.

As he kissed her , Alfonsina was moving her hands inside his hair. Then she touched his neck , it was warm as his lips. While they were kissing , Alfonsina knew that she was going to fall in love. But she didn't think about that very much. Edward's warm lips were taking her to happy and better place. She continued to kiss him and closed her eyes.

I pressed her close against me as we kissed, I thought if I didn't have her near me this wouldn't seem real. I had to hold onto her. I ran my hands through her hair. My hand traced the back of her neck, lightly moving along her spine.

Alfonsina felt Edward's hands in her blonde hair. Then she felt his hand around her spine and neck. As they were kissing , Alfonsina was moving her hands around his neck , too. It was like a dream. It was middle of the night and they were in that situation. Then she heard a noise coming from the forest. She stepped back.

"I think we should go somewhere else."

I heard the noise as well, and was on alert for a moment. "Yes my dear, let's go somewhere a bit more private.."

She nodded and smiled. Then she followed him while they were leaving the stream.

(Ok,waiting for you.)

I had to gather my thoughts so I ventured outside and took a spot by the stream which I was so fond of now...

"Lilibet?"Edward smiled warmly and gave her an embrace, spinning her around.

I laugh and wrap my slender arms around him,"Put me down,"I say jokingly.

Finally Edward set her down and tapped her button nose,"Oh forgive me,"he said playfully and swept a ridiculous bow,"Sister…"

I smile and settle back into the grass and pat a spot beside me,"Sit."

Edward did as his sister said and positioned himself beside her. He sighed lightly,"Do you miss home?"

I grin and clasp my hands on my lap,"More than anything, moreover I fear for my son-any one who so much as coughs seems to be a threat. I'll ask William-"
I stop and hold a hand to my mouth, realising my mistake.

Edward glanced up,"William? What do you mean?"
He then paused and finally pieced things together,"William. William! William that Scots prince who had a fancy for you?"

I frown,"Do not speak of him like that Edward-he is a prince, give him his owed respect."

"Give yourself respect-your son, little William, is his! Oh my God, I cannot believe this…how could I have been so stupid! So Henry-the child is not his?"

"No…no, we married so I wouldn't be ruined…"I whisper.

"Ruined! And yet you return to court knowing he is here! This is not love, it is a silly infatuation that you will stop. I forbid you to see him, it will be your ruin."

"It is and it will stop-you have a good marriage and you will stick with it. Do you not remember James! I will not let this other man ruin you."
